Tayside's annual budget is £752m. Even if the sickness cost is £250,000 per week as claimed - that is £13 million pa - ie 1.6% of their budget is lost to staff sickness. The private sector sickness rate for large employers is 3%.

Can get flights with Easyjet from Gatwick to Geneva for about £100 at moment. Geneva is around three hours on train from Interlaken (change in Bern). Same kind of price to Zurich or around £115 with BA but only 2 hours on train.

STILL no update on their website!!. Its a disgrace, they treat their fans like ****. I'll never buy another pie, their chairman out etc...... http://www.fcsochaux.fr/en/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=1620&Itemid=106

KD "looks forward to playing a part in its success". Guess hes staying then. All round good development.

Knowledge of football isnt a pre-requisite as Im sure you've realised. Take the point tho.

Fair enough. I hear pink is very slimming. Re main board - i didnt know you didnt moderate it. thanks. Makes things clearer.

Actually, despite you trying to be ironic, its getting pretty close to that. How, for example, is SRS able to start endless threads on basically the same theme 'Cortese is a ****' and post the same opinion 60 times a day, and abuse people - but Wiltshire Saint holding a mirror up to people in a humorous way is unacceptable - or is it the mirror you object to?
-
Thanks. The answer appears to be pretty clear.

Maybe people dont take notice of them because he routinely calls people ****s and invites them to meet in person and 'talk things over'. Doesnt matter what name he uses the end result will be the same.

Its a tricky balancing act. If the government dont cut the deficit then the UKs triple AAA rating will be lost - which will mean we will have to pay more interest on the £1.4 trillion plus we owe - and an extra 0.5%pa on £1.4 trillion is £7billion pa. So £7bn is going to come out of the economy whichever way you do it.

You dont think it was used to hit him round the head?

Im not saying Toyota have lost the plot, but now they are recalling to rectify mistakes. Previously, as far as Im aware, they didnt make those mistakes.

Because if anyone stays in a position of power for too long their objectivity and judgment disappears. People who have absolute power in one situation and little in the rest of their lives are worst affected. Not that I can think of anyone specifically of course..........
-
Thats odd because when I posted something criticising Stanley, Dune replied claiming "I didnt do that".
-
Is Cortese deliberately trying to annoy the fans.
buctootim replied to landford.saint's topic in The Saints
Interesting thought. Also people tend to feel more loyal to an organisation they have regulalr personal human contact with (as long its productive, helpful contact). -
Weird. SRS and Stanley continue to spam freely, slagging other posters and the club off at will whilst anyone who objects gets infracted.
-
Its odd what has happened to Toyota's purchasing and manufacturing quality control. For years they were the industry leader by miles and a mate of mine, a former senior manager at Toyota has made a very good living advising other companies on how to adopt their methods. It all seems to be falling apart at the moment.

Has Ponty been banned yet?

The reason that DBP got a easy reception for a week was because you posted at a normal rate for a week. No-one wants to read the same two or three opinions of yours repeated forcefully 60 posts a day. Its spamming up the forum. Thats why you get the hostile reception - your posting style -no other reason.
-
In that case you are making a bad call. This forum has lost most of its humour. If some of that was encouraged instead of sanctioned perhaps you wouldnt have a dominace of 'everything is ****' threads.
-
Ta. Sounds like it could help. I'll give the towel thing a go.

If I was Kelvin, heading rapidly towards retirement with a young family to support, I couldnt justify not taking perhaps a £1.5m contract for two years just because I liked it in Southampton.
-
Lol.Thats your whole problem Stu. You think a series of undistinguished, short held jobs in telesales equips you to advise on how a football club should be run.
-
The point is not whether everybody agrees with every decision you make. It is that you have a job to do, to run this forum in the best way you can to make it as popular as you can to the most people whilst covering costs, and god forbid, making a little extra for future developments. Cortese is doing the same job. Its a cop out to say that a football club is different therefore he should take all views into account at all times whereas your customers can **** off if they dont like it. Thats the double standards.
