No shi*t We could have told them that months ago!

The biggest problem for us as fans is that we constantly dream of a return to the promised land of the Premiership and measure our success in the CCC against what is (given the state of the club’s finances and the players we have available) a totally unrealistic expectation. A more realistic expectation is that there is every chance that a bunch of enthusiastic and talented kids will actually perform a total miracle this season and keep us in the Championship and out of administration. Like many others I have sat through most games this season thinking that the kids are on the cusp of something really special ….but just not quite there yet. How many games have we come away from thinking we deserved far more? Last Saturday’s game was a perfect example when, were it not for some truly shocking refereeing, we might well have won and should have got at least a point. The crowd’s positive reaction to the players at the end of the game showed that. Yesterday’s result confirms that with the talent we have both on and off the pitch we should NOT go down this season. True home results are still letting us down ….but largely because we have been unlucky and not because we are shi*te or have constantly played badly! My only fear is that the Board will make poor decisions in January and sell key players to cash in rather than see the bigger picture. If we adjust our expectations and concentrate on supporting the kids and Poortvliet in what has always been a fight for survival against the odds we might just enjoy ourselves for the rest of this season and have a few more surprises to celebrate on the way. If we can do that, stay up and keep most of the squad together…. a return to the promised land may yet be a realistic expectation in the 09/10 season.

You forgot to mention administration in the list..although I fear that may come earlier than we think

In 40 years as a Saints supporter I have never been so depressed You can't blame the kids ...they are trying but most of them are just not up to it What makes me sick is to see Saga and John on loan ...with Rasiak scoring for Watford .....when the best we can muster is the totally Sh*te and over-rated McG who couldn't hit a barn door with a tank...and oh my God BWP in reserve FFS (well forget him coz he's shi*te as well) We are undoubtedly going down unless something very different happens very soon..and sadly it isn't going to

I still stand by what I said .. would Bill Gates be where he is now if he'd decided not to take some risks, put his boll~cks on the line and mortgage the house to start microsoft??? ... if they look at the consequences of failure properly, no rational Chairman or supportive Bank (and apparently we have one) would think the risks we are currently taking are justified I repeat ... Missing two penalties is unforgiveable... McG's one on one was as bad Other than that we actually played the better football most of the game We saw it at QPR and at Coventry ...if you don't take your chances you are asking to get thumped...and we did! If we don't turn this around Administration is a real likelihood IMHO

Lowe will not only wreck this club ...he already has Anyone remember the FA Cup and a mid-Premiership finish? Lowe's mistake in refusing to fund WGS's plans at that stage are the key to why we are where we are now.....Any people expecting him to save us now with his "genius" ......get a life please
