Agree with what a lot of people are saying about Matt Targett. Thought he was excellent tonight. Very under rated young player who potentially has a great future.

I rate Pelle very highly but the core of last night's amazing turn of fortune was playing without him. He's been carrying an injury for months and last night proved that we shouldn't have been persevering with him on the pitch whilst injured. The change in formation and team gave the movement and pace that we have lacked for months. The result was proof that we should've been looking for alternatives months ago. I also thought that Shane Long's comment in his post match interview about "playing for one another as a team and not complaining" was interesting in that Pelle is often the player who is shouting at his teammates and complaining. A fit Pelle is still one of our greatest assets ...but an injured Pelle is not.

Good back up. Way better than Kelvin. But God we need Fraser back. Steklenberg has let in too many soft goals in the last few games. It doesn't look like those ahead of him have much confidence.

The problem with Yoshia is that he's generally reliable but every now and then he has the habit of making a monumental fc*uk up which lives in the memory.....Sunday's back pass being about the worst I've ever seen from him.

Thought Everton were excellent yesterday...doubtless a reaction to a good rollicking after last weekend's performance We, on the other hand, had a shocker The result was 0-3 Everton thoroughly deserved the win. Hopefully we learn and move on. This time last year we had the same points total. My bed remains dry.
