The refusal to sell a season ticket at Southampton FC
Wurzel replied to lenwilkins's topic in The Saints
I helped that day too, the dozen or so helpers was only just enough, it was darned heavy. Guessing a flag will be much lighter weight and will look great. BTW think your confusing Nick with John W******d with your comment . -
Starting to sing OWTSGMI at the correct speed. The more that sing it properly the better we play

I like the way that Google links words and phrases in articles to ensure related adverts appear on the page. Love the way that this advert appeared in that article , google must have decided that Pompey = fish

The club wishes to clarify details of the purchases after the 3 men concerned were overheard in the car park speaking in Russian accents, discussing their surprise that they managed to buy the whole club without exceeding their credit card limit

Read 7 or 8 different reports on the incident. Many mentioned that the song was a regular part of his set, that the complainants were not in the audience but passers by and that the song had started before they were passing. Maybe not facts in a court of law but reasonable assumptions based on what was reported.

An overused phrase but poitical correctness gone mad. My own take on the story - http://wurzelsweb.blogspot.com/2011/04/it-was-little-bit-frightening.html

Any experts on radio interference on here.? At home we suffer from very weak mobile (various networks) and DAB (Picks up the nationals but none of the locals) signals. We live in a bit of a dip which could explain it, but searches for my postcode say both should be perfect. But more strangely I always park in the same place, about 50 yards from my house. Approximately once a fortnight my car alarm key fob simply refuses to work. I have recently changed cars and it still happens. And it has never ever happened at any other location. From my very limited knowledge of these things Mobiles, DAB and key fobs all work through completely different types of radio waves. Is there anything that could be affecting all 3 ? (I've not ruled out a hidden alien base in the nearby woods)

But there was absolutely nothing in the original post to indicate that. As is so often the case with stories like this on here and elsewhere it is comments made by yourselves and other posters defending that point that totally overlooks the fact that that point was never made in the first place. Only 3 posts a day so I win

Did you even read the OP or watch the video?. Removing her burka at the request of a police officer (muslim or otherwise) is NOT against her religion or cultural belief. She simply tried to (falsely) play the race card to get herself out of trouble - and failed miserably.
-
The difference is none of the white Christians (or any other race/religions come to that) are trying to hide behind their religion as a reason not to prosecute them for the crime they committed. That's why it isn't relevant in those cases but it is in this one.

Well why didn't you say that then Speculative to say the least but in the context of events it could just make sense. BTW if 3-2-1 ever comes back get yourself on there, you'll see through those "clues" no problem

Being restricted to my 3 posts a day I have to choose my moments carefully, but as the OP of this thread feel compelled to ask ........ WTF are you on about Phil Over 100 posts, but most seemed to have missed my original point. I don't beleive the club is for sale for one minute, if it is I would assume that NC would remain in charge. My point was that only last week the Daily Fail took a hammering on here (again) for Saints de-stabilising type stories, then the Southampton Echo, even more so in comments on it's own web-site. Maybe the latter has realised that negative stories could be affecting it's circulation. Even L Mac seemed to be writing a reconciliatory article. But suddenly, the sports editor of a sister publication seems to be privy to such "secret" information. Could it be the **** stirrers are still stirring but now having to use a different mouthpiece?
-
To be fair - a phrase you'll know well;) - his twitter biog does state "These views are my own and not those of my employers, Newsquest". Bit I did find it strange that only a week after the local Echo seems to have finally understood how much it is ****ing of many Saints fans (i.e. many of it's customers) with it's negative and/or unsettling stories, that the sports editor of their sister publication should suddenly be claiming to be privy to such information.

From the twitter feed of the Bournemouth Echo Sports Editor Dark forces still in action ?

No but I've got this great idea. All those fans on our database, I bet they all need insurance ....

I've always worked on the basis that if it CAN go in either way then it doesn't matter which way. Go on give it a go. No liability accepted etc etc
