History is in the past. What's happening now is the present. Whilst "the now" should not ignore "the past", "now" is also creating more history for the future.

I really can't get myself worked up over a football shirt. Doesn't really worry me what the team play in and not a fan of stripes. As to whether I'd buy it, I would NEVER buy ANYTHING I didn't like just to follow the herd. So irrespective of who or what it represents, do I like it from a style and design point of view? Simple answer. NO.

I am going to boycott Budweiser and Stella untill they back down over these bullying tactics. OK, so I never drink either of them anyway, can't stand either of them, but it's the principle that counts. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2338129/Giant-US-firm-makes-Budweiser-crushes-tiny-UK-brewers--naming-beer-childrens-primary-school.html Although to be fair I can see how people could confuse the two.:rolleyes:

Caption says "pictured as teenagers shortly after they first met" Echo-speak for "most up to date photo of them both that we had."

A story about a riot in China over exams. "What has this to do with our friends down the road?" I hear you ask. It was the following passage that made the connection in my mind. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/asia/china/10132391/Riot-after-Chinese-teachers-try-to-stop-pupils-cheating.html

How about those of us that know you but still don't have a bleeding clue

If it is that's another £45 (or whatever it'll cost) staying firmly in my wallet.

As opposed to be being recorded a few days later ?

Ties in with what I heard this time last year, that we could forget media speculation at the time, club were only looking at U25s that were or had been regular U21 Internationals that had progressed (or were likely to, Clyne? ) to full national side

He's already said he will use that time to get to know area and get himself settled before meeting up with his new teammates. So when pre-season starts he can concentrate 100% on tactics and getting to know team-mates without those personal life distractions. No such thing as too early.

Great response to a certain previous thread Quite agree, not only is the club doing everything right, it's doing it (with the exception of the public side of NA's dismissal) in the right way.

Same here. I'd have been happy with red & white versions of either of those for ourselves.

Ditto.

Maybe you should join this I Hate It When Nobody Tells Me Anything group and come back in August.

Definitely the centred badge. They could even persuade me to part with hard earned cash for that one (apart from sash haven't bought a home shirt for god knows how long)

After several changes when a name I'd already picked appeared to be a later option, and 1 total guess I surprised myself with a 10 out of 10

I've watched this over and over, feeling slightly less nauseous every time, but you still wouldn't get me trying it in a million years. I'm at an age where I'd be struggling to pull myself back up with both hands let alone one, even if the bar was only 8ft off the ground. I've no reason to think it's not real, but when he's dangling one handed does that really look like a strong enough grip to hold his own weight? Looks like just a finger hold with no arm strength being used at all

[video=youtube_share;2Fs0hkdJzk8]http://youtu.be/2Fs0hkdJzk8 This one still working for me, but had to confirm old enough to watch it. Old enough to watch, NEVER be stupid enough to try it !

Not seen the episode but I'm guessing he dealt at £7k with all those 8 still remaining. With 7 less than that and only 1 above it, that would seem a pretty sensible deal.

Of course there are good Muslims. But until those good ones speak out and turn publicly, en masse, against those that seek to cause death and terror in the name of their religion then they are condoning their actions with their silence.

Maybe the curtains clashed with the new kit

So where did you bump into her to have this conversation?

That's nothing. We haven't even got him started on the shorts and socks yet

Pilotless Air Travel, would you trust your life to it?
Wurzel replied to buctootim's topic in The Lounge
I have seen men flying remote controlled model aircraft safely without incident, so no reason why a scaled up version shouldn't work ok. I think the flaw in the plan is the ability of the controller to keep up with the plane as he runs after it as it approaches maximum transmission/reception range, vainly pointing his aerial in the direction of the plane and hitting the buttons harder and harder. -
Next season: Saints best ever chance to win the Premier League?

I like to be careful with my money. Think I'll play safe and go for each way . This comment should be read in a sarcastic tone
