Business sense would be if hasn't turned us down then you leave it open but when/if a replacement is found at the right price Che will find that offer quickly withdrawn
-
Is this an indication of a new season of total Cruyff style football?. Everyone plays everywhere so shirt numbers allocated alphabetically?
-
No the quote was "Adams is a striker who can't see the goal for the trees". Not the same as a transfer to Nottingham
-
No it's Jimmy Dickinson . Made 764 appearances for them. Presumably had no sense of smell.

Season ticket holders get to choose new banner !

Yes we did. I helped take part in a photo shoot, hanging it from the top of the Old Walls, between the swimming baths and what is now the cinema/restuarant part of West Quay, it pretty much reached the ground below. I think it was before the 2005 relegation game but not sure on that. Can't find any pics either -
Pssst boys - message from Lallana and the boss ... We're putting the band back together

No. Makes great saves (although still prone to more than the odd gash) but is crap with his feet. That's why ManU let him go. The latter seems to be the priority to play in our system, otherwise we'd never have got Baz in in the first place. Which also makes me think the McCarthy has been resignrd as back up, he'll do in an emergency (as he proved) but someone else needed long term.
-
Just don't let him have anything to do with the half time "refreshments"
-
Why all the talk about Broja? He had a few good games for us then attitude completely changed as soon as we were taken over by a Serbian. No way will he be coming back (and from what I've seen since he left he's no improvement on what we already have anyway)

1st July tomorrow. New financial year. New kit/sponsor announcement(s) ??
-
Any trouble, kettle the away fans, shut the gates on them, stewards police and everyone else can safely stand outside the fence laughing as the police dogs are let loose to crawl in under the gates and have their fun 🤣
-
If I was Che's agent I'd be concerned about that bit 😂
-
Which one would you put your money on to score in a 1 on 1 with the keeper?. Or when unexpectedly finding the ball at his feet in the 6 yard box?
-
It was a lot to type, it took me a while 😂
-
I think we managed that ourselves without needing any help from them. First away - Everton, before they get a chance to sort themselves out First home - Fulham. Probably the quietest away fans so the new Red Wall can break theselves in gently. Xmas. - Nice and local, Brentford, Palace Chelsea, Brighton, any of those would be good Final game - Bournemouth, so we can laugh at their (unlikely) relegation
-
To be fair some of them did express their "enthusiasm" in unusual ways. Rumour has it at least one of them earned a Blue Peter badge for their efforts.
-
You had to be there to know that. As you were of course 🤣

Ok I've memorised the lyrics, what's the tune?

This is why Clive Woodward brought in a vision coach during his short spell ( or way too long spell if you're Harry Redknapp) with us after Rupert Lowe appointed him. Little margins etc.

Indeed (we must be around the same age). Plus you didn't get rained on. One of the loudest songs from that section was "its nice and dry in here" whenever it rained. I think (possibly) the pen under the half time scoreboard was known as Dockers Corner, but those talking about singinging groups in The Archers and the East Stand must be at least a generation younger.
-
Rumour has it that some never did, apparently they can still be seen wandering around Hill Lane and Archers Rd every Saturday afternoon
-
Unlikely, as I've always understood it UK stadium design regulations do not permit any seat to be more than 14 seats away from an exit aisle
-
I'm with you on that bit, but to be fair they probably don't even amount to half of one block. Glass half empty, extending the home fans section right across the end will attract more of them, glass half full it'll end up with the noddy tw@ts outnumbered by those around them that wish they'd shut the f*** up and they'll finally get the message. Me, I'm always a glass half full guy. 😛

Really 🤯 That's a hell of a weird time to get that done. To be fair to Baz I could walk without crutches after my vasectomy but no way would I have been playing a match 30 minutes later.
