Weak is the only word for it, took years under Cortese to finally get that imagine or weakness away from Southampton, only for the new muppets to ruin that in a matter of months. Its not that they've gone, it's how they've gone. Realty check for all optimists, time to stop being deluded and wake up, really is a **** day to be a saints supporter.. Oh how I'd love to be proved wrong though..

[Daily Mail] Saints make formal enquiry to sign Danny Ings
SB replied to Matthew Le God's topic in The Saints
Sell to england international and then equire about ings, talk about a reality check -
Lol
-
Wish he would leave, 'I'm just a hockey guy' does no favours and appears weak compared to NC
-
None of us know, although window cleaner likes to think so, bless. I think he should and would be given another chance, however doubt he'll want one
-
As I'm limited to 3 posts a day, if anyone wants to start a thread 'if I was a player' feel free, I won't feel robbed, strictly football talk though..
-
If I was a player I'd be questioning what the ****s going on, and with the lack of communication and urgency probably look to leave. Can't blame them considering..
-
Neither does Bruce or Koeman..
-
Might be just me, but thank **** for that
-
cute with all to links to managers that didn't have a good record then performed at saints, but for every strachan, there's a Jan poortvilet and in regards to Shaw and Lallana they'll be gone by the time the season starts, Although I'd love to be proved wrong..

our ambition as a club will be mirrored a lot through whoever is appointed, it's hard to stay positive with the people now in charge of Southampton FC appearing extremely weak which is something ( the image of the club) Cortese worked hard on changing. Personally I think Koeman will be an almighty flop, although Bruce would always be underwhelming appointment. For me, David Moyes, although under the new clowns it'll be Timmy.
-
Give me strength, if rather Koeman, actually I'd rather neither
-
Last time I got excited about an appointment it was George Burley, and well that ended well.. However id feel very underwhelmed at most of these names being spouted. Koeman? Really..
-
Hi I'm Ralph, I'm just the hockey guy *face in hands crying
-
never attempting a post again while on the move
-
Is it just be but would really dislike the appointment of Koeman, maybe it's just mad memories from our last Dutch duo
-
Judging by twitter it's official
-
Koeman? Give me strength, his agent says he's interested in joining the premier league everytime a position comes available (Fulham recently) he's managed some big names but achieved very little and will be a flop in the premiership IMO of course.

My opinion on the situation for what it's worth... Mentally I was prepared for Lallana and Shaw to leave, Lambert leaving is a massive shock to the system, in regards to the fee, Lambert was showing signs of slowing down last season, and with age probably only has two season at best left in him, HOWEVER his physical presence on and of the pitch is priceless and therefore 4 million is laughable. I'm not sure what the boards ambition really is but from what I can see it's not what most believed and certainly isn't about going forward. All the happy clappers can carry on but deep down I think you're seeing the way the club is going regardless of your sarcastic comments to any negative comments. Can they turn it around? Yes, but it would mean bringing in a quality manager, and a substantial transfer kitty. MP departing most probably ment there isnt a decent transfer pot, and 4 million or 40 million for Rickie Lambert really means nothing as the new manager however it might be won't have those funds to build apon.

3rd final post? No please stay, you given such valuable information that cannot be found in newspaper articles! 'We want 4th, we want 4th..'
-
That's what it boils down to, maybe the ambition at some point was realistic, however now it isn't, resulting in the departure of MP and soon to be a couple of high profile players
-
Why are a lot of you not getting it? When MP joined and when a lot of the new players signed it was through Cortese being chairman and selling the ambition which was champions league football. Since the daughters taken charge the ambition/five year plan has changed, it doesn't take an idiot to work that out, even small changes like cheap kit and sponsor, and soon to be the departure of Lallana, Shaw etc.. (Although I believe Shaw would always leave regardless) the new appointment of manager will also be underwhelming as they'll have seen the ambition and the transfer funds and realise it's a non starter, que Lennon or some turd from the championship
-
I'm most worried about the fact that MP is likely to take some players with him, in regards to the five year contract he'll be gone by Christmas. I'd take Moyes personally, although we have to remember that even though he built a good team ay Everton with no bigotry transfers, they players themselves are on big wages
