I have got this gut felling that the motivation was something to do with the docks.(Liebherr)? Two days after the takeover I see the plans for the docks extension are submitted again! What better way to get these plans through and invest in it than to get 50,000 locals on your side! I may be way off the mark and I don´t really care if it was for these reasons, if it means the club has a future! P.S. When reading this please remember I live in Spain and only catch a little bit of local news a week so don´t know much of the detail about the port extension!

I must say I have agreed with alot of what Alpine has always said, including wanting to go into admin! (maybe not some of the venemous stuff he has spouted before!) Now I agree again and believe that he has shown himself in a good light these last few days. I don´t get all the hatred that is written on here sometimes! I don´t agree with everyone and think that that is true for nearly everyone on here but to hate someone for it is stupid, after all we are all connected on here by one thing........SFC! Micheal Schumacher was on the news today. He has just bought a house for 50 million, they said he is on the forbes list as a billionaire! He also lives in Switzerland and is football mad. He owns and runs a small football team there that he also plays for!

In all sincerity, I am very happy that it appears that Guided Missile and Saint Stevo have been proved right! I have had a number, a large number, of instances of being wrong in my life, largely due to the large size of my mouth and the small size of my brain, but, given my deep love for Southampton Football Club, my passion, on this occasion, swamped my judgement. That judgement seems to have been wrong and Mr. Fialka and his North London friends don't appear to have access to the £14M that will save our club, together with an invisable investment plan that will help put the club back in the Premiership. I apologise, unreservedly to Mr. Missile and Mr. Stevo for the abuse that I have posted and hope that by supporting the club when it is taken over, I will be able to make amends. Finally, I was made aware that I called Mr. Missile a "attention seeking troll". This deeply upset one of our posters who is married to a black lady and has mixed race children. He believes that that comment makes me the worst type of racist, one that didn't know he was one. I am very sorry to him and to Mr. Missile if they found the term offensive and racist. Please forgive me in the future for any words I use that also rhyme with offensive terms. I hope that in the spirit of reconciliation, all those that thought Mr. Missile and Mr. Stevo were "Trolls" join me in apologising.... Perhaps I should start my own humble pie thread.........mmmmmmmmmm....... I wonder!

I also used to love going on the pitch on the last day of the season at the dell and all the players going into the chairmans box to throw their shirts into the crowd!

My greatest ever moment was walking through the car park at the Dell with my dad and grandad about half an hour before the Steve Mills testimonial i think! Anyway as we were getting to the turnstiles my dad spotted Kevin Keegan getting out of his car so he told me to run over and get his autograph. (i must have been about 8?) So i go and talk to him and get said autograph and I happen to be wearing my new red and white woolly hat my Nan knitted me specially for the occasion, complete with bobble I made myself! Well KK asked me if he could wear my hat for the game as it was a bit parky. I said No and he walked off laughing. Oh how i wish I had said yes!!!

IMHO there is no need to apologise Gordon. You, me and many other people were taken in by all of this. Including Morph, FF and GM at the start! I don't remember any of them having doubts until about 2 weeks in! Don't pander to their over inflated egos! Chin up mate its not over yet!!

Thats rubbish!!! They have only been there for their team since they got to the premier league. When they were in the old first/second division they regularly saw crowds of 8,000 ish and lower!
