Thing is Nick you may be able to "move on", but other people may not be able too. I am a gay man and see these kind of comments or jokes all over this forum all the time that can only be described as Homophobia. Although I have a thick skin and am old enough too let it pass me by, other people may not be able too. I used to complain about these kind of things and I must say the mods have always been great at sorting them out, but why should I have to put up with it? Just think for a minute for instance "if" one of the younger posters is gay but nobody knows and comes on here to talk about his/her passion for saints. they probably have a ****ty time at school as it is without seeing this kind of thing on a football forum! I accept the apology from St Will if it was aimed at me aswell and certainly dont want to vindicate him for his comments but maybe some people should take a minute to vet their own posts before hitting submit!

I have Sky here and although it is illegal Sky don't seem to mind because they are getting paid. The legality comes from Spain wanting you to buy their own Sky system! Mind you a lot of the local urbanisations have now got a system that anyone living in them can now plug into for free that has a couple of german and french channels and all five main English channels too! Maybe Spain are more Euro friendly?

Sorry for the confusion but i meant that you buy the phone but put the card in your own phone and chuck the phone(or give it away?) and the bit about movistar is correct, but I was just using them as an example because their is a shop near me so I look in the window quite often and saw the good offer!

I live about 15 minutes from Gib! There are loads of bars and clubs in Gib as DD says, not sure which ones are best to be honest, as i don´t go over the border very often. Imho you should do what you have to do in Gib and then get out and stay 3 days in Spain. I hate Gib as the people are really rude! They don´t like the Spanish and they don´t like the English either. As DD says the brothel to be at is about 10 mins form the border but not actually in La Linea, but on the dual carriageway towards Los Barrios. (apparently!!!!) If you need anymore info just ask.

Also with some phone companies over here it is cheaper to buy their cheapest phone on offer rather than just a sim. For example movistar (who now own o2 i believe) sell a sim for 30 euros with 10 euros credit or a cheap 19.99 euro phone with 15 euros worth of credit on it.

I also believe that if you are with vodaphone in the UK then you can gets ome really good deals on spanish sim cards/costs etc from Vodaphone in Spain. A mate recently bought a sim from there when on holiday recently and said that the charges were pretty cheap!

My grandad is 83 and still has his season ticket with my dad and my nephew! Before I came to Spain I had a season ticket for 16 years with them as well. When i get over to see games, all four generations go at the same time!

The hilighted text is for me beyond the ridiculous! Mr Lowe was appointing crap manager after crap manager long before Crouch came on the scene. To say he appointed managers in a crouchesque manner is absurd, as Crouch realised his mistake with his first managerial appointment and took on arguably one of the best young English managers at the moment. Sometimes you do speak some sense and then other times,(usually when it involves Mr Lowe) you let yourself down by speaking absolute twaddle!

As i posted on another thread: I watched match of the day and the football league show last night and the amount of poor referees in the game is incredible! I don't believe that we should blame all our troubles on the ref, but where is the comeback for refs? If a player ****s up, (ie the Nottingham forest bloke waving the flag) then the FA come down hard on them, but if a ref ****s up nothing is done to them! The only ref i can remember getting in trouble was, Andy Durso(?) when he booked a player three times against us! IMHO until some technology is brought into the game and their is a punishment for referees for making mistakes, then you will have fans, managers, players, reporters etc up and down the country moaning about dodgy decisions week in week out!

I totally agree! I have always voted Tory and am proud of it, but now I live in Spain I tend to keep my opinions on British politics to myself! The same way that people who don't bother to vote should also. It's a bit rich Feungirola Saint to be complaining about the system in England when you don't live or (probably) pay tax into the system! Especially as a lot of Brits living here don't pay tax into the Spanish system either!
