I used to belong to a Paranormal Investigation group based around Eastleigh. They had some fantastic equipment and were very highly thought of in the area, hence they were the only group allowed to investigate in beaulie at the time! I went as a sceptic but very iterested to find out if anything exists. I think people fall into three catagories. 1. total sceptics that will never change their minds. 2. sceptics that are interested to find out if anything exists. and 3. people that totally believe in the paranormal. Now IMHO whichever group you are in, you should find a local group and at least go on one investigation, it is good fun. I went with them on a few outings and to beaulie as well and i must say that i didnt experience anything to change my mind but they were great fun! Most groups have a good number of people from each catagory, which is what makes it interesting and fun.

Sorry for the delay! I have only just got home from work. Right! I did put in my post that I wasn't going to cry about it, just wanted to point out the homophobic comments that are let go on this forum all the time! You say that it is just your opinion that "you feel uncomfortable with seeing two men kissing", thats your opinion and you are welcome to it. However no hetrosexual man has the same "uncomfortable" problems with two women kissing eh! And secondly if I said " I feel uncomfortable with seeing a Black man with a white woman" I would be rightly accused of being racist! Now someone please tell me the difference. One opinion you can get away with "because it's only my opinion" and the other people get slated for! You may see it as pc gone mad but thats what men said before women got the vote! Gay rights for all!:partyman::wink:
-
Yes. and where you went on to say that you feel uncomfortable particularly if the people are "both the same sex" ! But saying that I am not going to cry about it! I just want to point out that when people are criticizing other people for using xenophobic remarks on this site we seem to forget all the slightly or openly homophobic remarks that are let go on this site!
-
I was insulted by your "creepy" qoute to be honest!
-
Why your at it with bleating on about derogatory remarks, why dont you do a search on the term "gay" or even "Ghey" and see all the derogatory remarks that you have missed over the years!! Or maybe its ok for people on this site to insult homosexuals?
-
i think it was around the time that they were going to move and this was a protest stayaway!
-
I know its slightly off topic but I went to the famous game at sellhurst to watch Wimbledon where they only got 63 fans in the whole ground! I only lived around the corner and couldnt get back for the Saints game so decided to go! Woohoo what an atmosphere!
-
Such sad news. My families thoughts are with you. Keep your head up Big Ron and please come back for a game, I would fly over to see that!

We get sky here with a 1.2metre dish and only gets interference in very bad weather!
-
Well I am not going to lie, when it is really bad weather you do get some interference on some channels and lose some altogether, although that tends to be the likes of more4, e4 and maybe itv 3 and 4. The BBC is one of the most stable and as i say it is only in extreme weather, mainly cloud cover I think! When it rains hard here it really rains but I have fashioned a device made of plastic bags and three bits of dowling that I fix over the LNB which stops it getting rained on and usually clears the problem.
-
As i said just look on ebay or free ads, loads of boxes with valid cards on there and good for all the free channels! All BBC channels, all ITV channels, all channel 4 channels and Five plus loads more. I believe that site that you went on for the astra footprint is lying if it says you need 1.5 mtre dish for France because I am approx 1000 kms from southern France and mine is 1.2 metres.
-
How far are you from england? We have a 1.2m dish here and it is fine and dandy! Also look in the free ads or something people are selling boxes with cards all the time! Granted you can't subscribe to Sky sports because of the phone line thing but you get all the free channels including bbc. Also if you have any family in the uk they could take out a new subscription and give you their old box and card and you just pay thyem the subscription.
-
all the other free channels as well!
-
Surely your not that far from the astra footprint! why don't you buy a dish and get one of your family from the uk to subscribe for you send you the card and box, all you have to do is pay from a uk bank account. its illegal but Sky don't seem to mind as they are getting paid. At work we have a scottish and an Irish box!
-
It is supposed to be safe for about 3 months i believe! Although keep it well wrapped or it will get freezer burn.
-
I am also a chef and worked at the Meridian Piccadilly(upstairs though)! Amongst other places you will know there was The Waldorf, Langans Brasserie then went to more classy establishments such as Somerset house, Zander and Home House! P.s. I hate to cook at home as i do it all day and however many pieces of equipment you buy your kitchen is never as well equiped as work which makes me very frustrated! so i let my other half cook!
