Couple of expensive overs from Arafat and Edwards has made this a cruise for Gloucester now.

The Dawson situation is bizarre. Forced to open when he clearly isn't suited to doing it, inevitably fails and gets dropped. Yes, Gatting scored runs in the first innings but his career to date suggests he will do nothing for the next few games. If someone was going to be dropped, they could have at least replaced them with one of the younger players! The batting on paper is pretty reasonable but has totally failed so far this season. The bowling hasn't been great either (although they toiled well yesterday) but it can't be easy going out to field with so little runs on the board.

I'm at Lord's at the moment, bowling well so far but Middlesex bat deep! No obvious demons in the pitch. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk

Dawson's had a poor season (mainly due to him opening when he isn't an opener!) so being left out isn't entirely surprising but disappointed that's for Gatting!

Terry is 24 in August. He didn't play any four day cricket last year due to injury but did ok at the back end of 2013. Don't understand why Carberry is batting 3 rather than opening at the moment.

Smith won the club's player of the season award last year.

He'll be going back to Surrey I'd have thought.
-
Pretty sure the last two seasons there have been tickets available on the gate so if we take a decent allocation it shouldn't be a problem.
-
Rumours on Twitter suggest he's going back to Kent. Bit of a blow to lose Coles now though; despite his apparent problems he was one of our better bowlers in the four day stuff last year. Big chance for Wood to nail down a spot in all formats now.

Hooiveld to return and then head to Millwall?

He wasn't actually that bad in the second half of the first season up. Had a very good game in the win over Man City for example. Looked very poor when called upon last year though, looked completely shot in the cup game against Burnley. -
Chelsea vs Southampton KO moved for TV

For those thinking about Everton away, that one looks like a nightmare by train. The usual Euston to Lime Street trains aren't running at all and Reading Station is shut so the Cross Country trains to Manchester are going different routes. -
I've sat in the home end at QPR before and it wasn't too bad. Pretty sure there were other Saints fans sat near me. Only problem was I got stuck next to the **** in the sombrero though.

Doesn't say much for the standard of the league that Sunderland will probably stay up pretty comfortably this year.

Got mine through the post on Friday. Was surprised as assumed they would be added to STs. -
He was decent against QPR and Stoke. Completely lost it in the last month or so though.

You had to select adult season ticket holder on the drop down for ticket type. Of course everyone buying at this stage is a ST holder anyway... -

It better be the Tuesday as I've already booked my trains! -
We aren't great at home but better than most in the Prem from my experience. Swansea easily the best from the games I've been to in the last three years.

The system we had for the last two seasons wasn't fantastic but was still better than this year's. The most frustrating aspect is it allows you to choose the seats and get to the checkout before saying you aren't eligible/can't buy that many tickets. At least on the old system you were just blocked out until you became eligible.

Went to Sheffield Uni so delighted at this. Looking forward to returning! -
Could have been worse as the Man Utd game is the only one to move significantly time wise. Monday night games are a pain though. Can get on to planning Burnley away now!
