Went to the first two days and it was fairly slow going from both batting sides, some decent bowling though. Looks like we've lost this game now. Can only see us beating Worcester from our remaining games as we just can't bowl sides out this season!

To be fair he was mixing up the bowling changes quite a bit, bowling the seamers in short spells. Notts earlier score flattered Hampshire quite a bit. Got the wickets through pretty poor batting rather than decent bowling, the wicket looks fairly flat.

Is there really much point? The Tories will win by a landslide and we'll be even worse off than before as they are comfortably more useless than Labour. We really need to change the electoral system...it's a nineteenth century throwback at the moment and something much more important to moan about than the expenses stuff.

Benham always seems a totally different player whenever I see him in Championship and one day games. In Championship cricket he always looks a bit scratchy and nervous whereas in one day cricket he's a lot more free-flowing and actually has a pretty good record.

Already been cleared by pitch inspector apparently. First game of the season...both sides are stronger bowling sides than batting...nothing too shocking IMO!

Meant to say 'would have gone up to this game....but can't really afford...etc etc..' look a bit silly now after taking the **** out of the Hallam lad...oh well.
