  1. For the sake of accuracy, those pictures were sold to the Daily Mirror by serving servicemen, who claimed they were accurate. At worst the Mirror were guilty of being hoaxed, rather than manipulating anything. Additionally, the allegations in the article itself proved to be true and the men involved in the abuse were court martialled.
  2. Surely if his wife's credit card was actually stolen the 7k would be returned by the bank straight away. Fraud on your card doesn't leave you in debt.
  3. They did pay last month's wages, though, didn't they. That's a substantial amount of funds in itself, as is the deposit for the period of exclusivity. It would be a very expensive joke.
  4. Er, on what grounds could 'we' sue Braclays?
  5. By my reckoning, Saints could be down even before the Burnley game (bar a big shift in goal difference). If Barnsley and Norwich win in the week, Forest is an early kick-off at Blackpool on Saturday at 12.30pm.
  6. More like five millenia. If you don't know why being in a worse division is a less attractive proposition, then there's no way anyone will make you understand by answering the question.
  7. So, so far that's £3.5 million which needs to be raised to buy a break-even football club with a poor squad of players. Where's the ROI?
  8. Plan Z doesn't exist, Steve. The cut-off point comes around Plan B. A significant amount of the debt needs servicing, otherwise there will be no club as it stands. It's as simple as that. Saints income at present is not even paying for its current overheads, let alone the debt. Think Woolworths, then you'll be somewhere close. It's as perilous as that.
  9. Agreed. Apart from the first sentence of the article. Much as it pains me to say, I think Saints should be docked 10 points.
  10. All ownership is an investment, derry. First rule of business. Presumably that's what you're talking about it, or is it just throwing money at the wall?
  11. I have money available, but what are the likely returns on investment. Or is this just a charity thing?
