Just festivals. If I get my way one of them will be Green Man where you can camp for a week in the Brecon Beacons. With 2 kids (one 5, one 2) we really can't be arsed to fly anywhere, just seems far too much money and hassle to end up watching them play with sticks in another country.

Ouch! http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_div_1/9426549.stm

That's Tango Man. He was doing press ups at one point!

Nice. I'm just checking out the Four Tet/Burial/Thom Yorke collaboration.

Is the top one Colin Clarke?

Agree with sentiments expressed thus far. Barnard gives the team more energy and while he's banging in the goals should be a definite starter every week. He also helps us defensively by closing down the opposition and rushing them into mistakes which help us gain back possession.

Yeah, it's bound to be applications again, especially Brighton as we'll get under 1000 tickets.

Is shipping in 800,000 tonnes of wood to burn here really a low carbon way of doing it? Just seems a bit strange that we grow wood in another country and then burn it here to create energy. Also how does it count as renewable, is that not energy made by tide and wind etc?? Obviously I have no idea about this sort of thing! Would it create many jobs for local people? Clearly a good thing if it does. I saw the photoshop mock up in the Echo if the plant and it looked ridiculous, although this is the Echo we're talking about!

Great day out yesterday, brilliant atmosphere from our fans. Just skimmed this thread so not sure if it was mentioned, but Kelvin's save when he tipped it onto the bar at 2-1 was magnificent. I quite enjoyed the escort back to Pokesdown, got the chance to laugh at all their fans stood on the street as we went past. Nice of the Police to hold the train back for us too so no waiting when we got to the station.

Celebrities and other 'famous' people you think are total bellends.

No. I'm the good looking bloke. Hard to tell which one I guess because all of us in Block 36 are right lookers.
-
Nope. I'm a few rows behind him, so all I would have seen was the back of his head.
-
It's not the Northam, it's Kingsland Block 36. How do I know? I'm in the photo.
-
Exactly. And no point busting a gut for a fourth when we were so comfortable. Play the game out without risking any injuries or bookings and move on to the next match.

I prefer Butterfield because I think he's so important in defence, especially when covering the cb's. His positioning is sound and he plays with a level head. As for Lloyd James on Saturday, well he was ok. He did provide a highly amusing epic fail though. Corner puled back to the edge of the area, James swings his right foot at the ball only to slice it horribly about 3 foot into the air. The ball then spun viciously and bounced back to him and he walloped a 20 yarder over the bar.

They'll struggle to get over the advertising hoardings with all those zimmer frames and dodgy hips.

Solid if unspectacular performance. Kelvin only had one real save to make, most of their attacks were dealt with by the defence. I thought Butterfield covered well and made some vital tackles a few times when they beat the centre backs. Chamberlain was dangerous and despite a frustrating opening 15 minutes for him Lallana looked sharper than on Tuesday and caused problems when we worked him some space to run into. Boring ground to go to, but I enjoyed watching the home fans throw around paper aeroplanes made from the blue and white cards they held up when the teams came out.

Charlie Brooker's view on it. Hahahaha.

Haunted Stereo are good. Not a band as such, but DJ Format has made a couple of quality albums.

And an average of about 18 goals per game.

There's some ridiculous comments on this thread. Some of you need to man up and go and watch these games before passing judgement from your armchair. You may notice that the people who actually put in the effort of travelling up and down the country to obscure towns week in week out don't come on here throwing inane and unsubstantiated comments about in post match reaction threads when they miss the odd game. Funny that. And the play off final is at Old Trafford.

Yep, pretty much how I saw it. Very disappointed that Morgan went off early and we resorted to pumping it long. We struggled to get the ball to feet and it spent a lot of time bouncing around without being under control. Despite this we still created plenty of chances (mainly through pressure rather than incisive football) but bad finishing cost us. We also played quite narrow. This meant there was often no wide man for the full backs to use so they ended up hoisting a diagonal ball to Lambert or Barnard. Terrible goal to give away too.

Seems like a level headed pro, and someone with the sort of experience that would be useful to have around the club in some capacity. I thought his injury and our subsequent lack of decent cover at RB last season was quite a big factor in us not making the play offs. He was a very important player for us in terms of on-pitch organisation, and very solid in defence. We were quite comfortably winning the cup game against Birmingham before he got crocked. As soon as he went off we completely fell apart. After that we ended up playing the rest of the season with Lloyd James and Ostemobor at RB, both of whom to be fair were mediocre at best.

I hope so because I'm leaving at that time too!
