  1. Hahaha. Brilliant. Look at Liam crap his pants and then give it large once security have got the bloke. What's with the funny leap forwards with his chest puffed out? Tosser.
  2. Whatever one they were playing when that bloke ran on the stage in Canada and hit Noel. The only sad thing about it was he didn't smack Liam as well before sticking his hand down his throat and ripping out his ****ing voicebox.
  3. Not many. Does Wales count? France (loads of times) Holland x3 Belgium Ireland Spain x2 Portugal Italy Romania USA Canada UAE Isle of Wight
  4. He also links up better with Guly and especially Lallana than Barnard. His control and ability to play fast one touch passes in tight situations, especially with Lallana, makes us a much more potent attacking force. Some of the moves they put together on the left at the end of the season were pure quality and a joy to watch.
  5. What was our defence doing for the second goal? Shocking. Was so gutted at the time that we lost that game. If I remember rightly we would have played a 2 legged semi against relegation threatened Middlesbrough if we'd won. A team who we'd already beaten twice that season. Sadly the highlights don't stretch to showing Paul Jones last minute save from a 30 yard Le Tiss thunderbolt that was heading into the top corner. One of the best saves I've seen.
  6. They had to stop play at the Rose Bowl because as at one point they thought there was a danger the tiger might enter the field of play and embarrass the Hants players by bowling one straight.
  7. Does it make it worse if I tell you I'm in the front row? I've been feeling smug about that since I booked the tickets on the day of release!!
  8. I only really drink when I'm watching Saints. Probably average about 6 pints during a home game, maybe a few more if going away on the train. Have the odd glass of wine or bottle of ale in the week but that's about it.
  9. Maybe, but they are in the cack financially and could well ship out a huge amount of their squad.
  10. The aim of the other players on the pitch is to do their job and get into the positions they are meant to be in. I'm not saying that he was never at fault, just a lot less than some people probably realised. Maybe you should go and watch some training sessions and see exactly how coached professional football is. And I think that 114 caps shows he had more than "international pretensions".
  11. I thought he was a very good player who was often unfairly maligned for knocking passes into areas where we should have had a player but didn't.
  12. Might make it down for the evening, but I'm staying up in London the night before as we're going to see Low at the Barbican. Then on the Saturday we have to go back to Kent to pick up the kids before driving back home to Southampton. Gutted really as it's an excellent event and it would have been nice to laze around in the park all day.
  13. Lovejoy is a complete tool. If anyone hasn't read the WSC review of his book on football then please do so because it's absolutely hilarious and completely spot on: http://www.wsc.co.uk/content/view/145/29/
  14. Brilliant from Groves. Didn't think he had that type of performance in him. Got to say it's quality for British boxing to see 2 relative novices in such a big fight, looked like an incredible atmosphere in the arena.
  15. A bit silly of them to post the pictures on Facebook really. My missus is a teacher and they were told ages ago not to put any school related stuff on there. The parent who posted stuff through other parent's doors deserves a slap though. What a plum. This is typical of why I hate the Mail so much though. They call the pictures 'unsavoury' but then print them anyway. I ****ing hate that newspaper and Paul Dacre is a **** of the highest order..
  16. Been looking forward to Degale vs Groves for ages. I think Degale will win but it will be a great fight. For me Groves is just too easy to hit, something proved by his fight against Kenny Anderson, and Degale's power and accuracy will tell. Degale looks really good so far and I was most impressed with his win over Paul Smith. Along with Kell Brook and Frankie Gavin we have some pretty amazing prospects at the moment. Cleverly will win at a canter.
  17. It's the retained list, not a squad list for next season. Players will probably leave and others will come in, some signed and some on loan. With our set up and training facilities a lot of Premiership clubs will be more than happy to loan us decent players. Keeping Martin is a good move as he's young and is clearly a good, strong defender. Send him out on loan to gain match experience and see how his all round game has developed. As far as I can see we to get in 3 very good players to strengthen the spine of our team. A CB, an intelligent solid midfielder who can play quicker ball than Hammond, and a decent striker with a bit of pace. Add in a winger if Chamberlain goes. This should be quite achievable for a club in our position.
  18. Nope. Applied for £1600 worth so surely I'll get something even if it's just table tennis.
  19. True. And why does the kid need to ask someone anyway? Are we all stating that as children we were undecided in which team to support? The kid in the song must live somewhere inbetween here and Pompey for the song to be relevant. Probably in Fareham. So from now on this should only be sung by males from Fareham whose mothers were still alive at the time they needed to decide which team to support, and whose Dad's owned a gun.
  20. I bet those Villa fans organised that on a Forum. If only we could do the same. As for Palace, I was at Selhurst this season (day of the called off Rochdale fixture) and I thought their Ultras were good. I couldn't really see them as I was in the top tier of the Holmesdale End but they were loud and kept singing for pretty much the whole 90 minutes which is more than can be said for our fans.
  21. Plus the line "Southampton Boys in town" just isn't fair on all the women that come to watch us. Neither is "When I was just a little boy". That needs to be changed to "child".
  22. Haahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!! http://www.youtube.com/user/BrittanyYoungxDuckie#p/u/0/Vi2qX96gGJc
  23. To the tune of Drive My Car: They asked his Dad what he wanted to be Is it Saints or is it Pompey He said, "Alex you'll stay at the Saints" You'll never play for the fu cking Skates Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain He'll be a Saints legend Beep beep beep beep yeah.
  24. Probably news about the club getting some new headed notepaper or something else equally humdrum. AND HE'S SAT THERE MOCKING US. Doesn't he realise my whole life could be defined by this announcement tomorrow? What sort of time is 'early doors'? is 7am too early for early doors? Normally 9pm would be a bit late for early doors, but it's a Saturday so it may still qualify. But then maybe Sibley likes to rise early of a Saturday for a 5k run. His early doors could then conceivably be something like 5.30am. Sod it. Can't miss risking it so I'm going to pull an all nighter to make sure I'm definitely there when the news is released.
  25. On the guardian website. Bobby Stokes goal chosen as one of their 6 goals in this selection. Take in the wonderful picture at the top and then scroll to number 4. http://www.guardian.co.uk/sport/blog/2011/may/13/joy-of-six-fa-cup-final-goals
