  1. But he can't read that because he has you on ignore. Oh.
  2. What's this now, Nazi economics?
  3. What on earth are you going on about? That's just a plain weird post.
  4. The Germans have made better music so I'll go for them, although Serge Gainsbourg was pretty cool in his day and was fascinated with anal sex.
  5. But there are thousands and thousands of casual fans in and around Southampton. Even if they all only go to 3 random games a season that will make quite a bit of difference. I even know a bloke that supports Pompey who would come along at times if they weren't playing so he could watch some football. I agree with you about there being no point expanding until we have a decent ST waiting list, although clearly there is no harm in Cortese looking into the process now so we are ready to hit the ground running with the proposals when the time is right. Nothing wrong with forward planning. The example of Spurs is interesting. How long have they had a 20000 waiting list? Not long I'd guess which just goes to show how quickly demand can build up.
  6. I'd hate to be working in the ticket office tomorrow, probably going to be quite a few disgruntled people trying to collect their bus tickets.
  7. Spot on. When we were in the Prem I'd always have mates who supported Saints (or other teams) asking if there were tickets left for upcoming games but they weren't that bothered if they couldn't get one. I very much doubt any of them would contact the club to find out because they didn't need to as they could ask me or another season ticket holder who would more than likely know the answer.
  8. I bet Dune is all in a quandry now after he proclaimed it a great move by Cameron, only for the leader of the party he now votes for coming out and saying Dave ballsed up.
  9. I reckon that with access to the database I could have sorted this whole allocation out on my own quicker than the combined 'efforts' of the ticket office.
  10. Turkish you can be funny, but do you not even bore yourself by coming out with this whole attendance stuff on a regular basis?
  11. Amazon Amneity by Link (The Chameleon Remix) is the best d&b track of all time and if anyone says otherwise they smell of wee http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AmHiuHmiaSM
  12. I like Kelvin. Yes he has made a few howlers but so have most keepers. We don't let many goals in where you think "he should have saved that". His kicking has improved immesurably over the past year too. He could do a decent job in the Premier League for a season if we got promoted.
  13. Different names. I got 4 tickets all of which have the name of the individual applicants. I imagine that when we're on the bus a name will get called, and bus ticket is handed over in exchange for match ticket.

Me too. From what I saw there was no way another defender would have denied Parker a goal scoring opportunity. This constant negativity towards referees really annoys me. With the amount of abuse they get at games from players, fans, managers and subsequently in the media it's a surprise that anyone would actually want to put the time and the effort in to becoming one. If there was no refs we'd have no football. Clearly they make mistakes but they don't do it on purpose. Lay off them.
  15. Yes. Got mine earlier.
  16. Same here. Picked my tickets up earlier too. Just gave my surname and first line of address and they were in my grubby hands. Asked about Brighton away tickets while I was there, bloke said they'd go on sale early next week.
  17. Danny, you should wear 2 Saints shirts so that when Rickie scores our last minute winner you can take one off and fling it about above your head while still wearing one. I'm going to wear 7 just incase we go goal crazy.
  18. IF, and I say IF, it is true then it's a joke effort from our fans.
  19. To be fair the Pompey fan on there does say this about TCWTB: "that smelly **** should ****ing die a slow and painful death...when he isnt at our games the variety of songs is so much better...."
  20. Oh they'll do their "hit him with a brick" thing a few times. Pony fiddlers, maybe something about the statue, not sure what else though. They'll all be gone on 60 minutes when we're 5-0 up anyway.
  21. Maybe they went through all the forms and added up the number of tickets that were applied for before actually processing them on the system. That would make sense when you consider that people are only just having the tickets allocated to their accounts.
  22. Iwan Thomas. Saw him in the away end at Bolton on a tuesday night. John Inverdale Craig Charles used to watch Saints a lot when he lived in Bursledon but doesn't support us. That bloke on ITN news. Gavyn Davies.
  23. Surely a lot of that is due to people living beyond their means, people wanting stuff they can't afford and not caring about the consequences of having to repay what they have borrowed? Just look at the cars some people drive. Why take out a loan and spend £15 to £20k on a car when you can buy a decent one for a few thousand second hand. Why buy a house that costs £300k when one a third less will suffice? Or maybe it's just me and that's too simplistic an approach.
  24. Probably parents taking their kids who were off school shopping, because when faced with an extra day to spend with their kids a lot of people can't think of any other way to entertain them than buying them more crap they don't need.
  25. Agreed. Sadly it's impossible to ignore him because he seemingly pops up everywhere.
