Maybe now he's starting people will begin spelling his name correctly

Team sheet is a lie because he can't adapt and is wedded to one system

People at work who talk about the weather every day. Yes, it's colder than it was. It's fucking September. Yes, it rains sometimes in summer. We live in England. You are an adult and experience this every year, surely it's not a surprise? Even when I go out the office at lunchtime, it's all "how warm is it outside?" Fuck me, we all own jumpers and coats. If it's cold or wet put one on you bellend.

Yes, that was sad. I lived in the flat about Bitter Virtue for a few years back around the time it opened which was very handy! Bookshop Alehouse is good, haven't been there for ages though. The Rockstone is reopening soon. Has been bought by the bloke who runs Papillon (old Cloisters) Xoxo, Heartbreakers and others. His business partner is the bloke who bought Unity after it originally stopped trading so I imagine it will be craft beer and ale focused again as it was back in its glory days.

They are a new poster with one post. Hmm. Smells like a Man Utd fan to me...

Yes, it was Goblets before being Belgium & Blues. The Alex is back open now, they do ridiculously good burgers. The Guide Dog sounds like the sort of place you would like, proper old school real ale pub.

1-0 up in the second half

The ones around Bedford Place are all fairly new. It seems that since COVID there's been an explosion of craft beer places in that area. Overdraft is where Black Phoenix and previously the Pensioners was. Raven and Bine is run by Dancing Man and is in the building which used to be Smugglers. If you haven't been for a while you may not know that area is now completely pedestrianised. There are tables in the street so you can buy a beer from one pub then a meal from somewhere else and sit outside enjoying both. It's a lovely area to spend an afternoon or evening, especially when the sun is out. Guildhall Square is a lot different now. I forgot to mention Belgium & Blues which is in that area and also has a lot of great beers. Mind you, it's worth paying attention to the prices of some as they do have a few which can be quite wallet busting!

There are loads of great craft beer places in Southampton now. The area around Bedford Place round to Carlton Place has enough for a ridiculously good pub crawl. Bottle & Stoat, Beards & Boards, Overdraft (also has incredible mexican food) Raven & Bine all outstanding. Then the Brewhouse around the corner is alright too. If you want dull, generic supermarket style craft beer Brewdog is close by and there's other bars and pubs in the area selling mass produced Neck Oil. Dancing Man and Platform Tavern down the bottom end of town also great. Olaf's Tun in Woolston is ridiculously good as is Butcher's Hook in Bitterne. Shirley has Craft 101, Witches Brew, another Overdraft and Clockwork. We also have Unity brewing their own beer in Northam. We're really lucky here with the amount of exceptional places to drink. Southampton probably has more craft beer options than a lot of other similar sized cities.

I didn't see the game at the weekend because I was in a field listening to music and drinking beer. Got back to work today and spoke to a Brentford fan about the game and he said we played pretty well apart from the 2 silly goals. Having flicked through here I expected that he was going to tell me we played like a park team and were lucky not to let in about 7.

The top 10 players with the most touches of the ball in the league are all CB's. In fact the only non defenders in the top 20 are Downes, Madison and Kovacic.

No comments on last night's win, the excellent performances by some of the new players or the ridiculous signing of Ramsdale then Batman? Just wake up and carry on moaning. Your relentless negative consistency is something else.

I've been saying he's going to be something special for about 3 years. Nice of everyone to finally catch up.
-
Hate that. They all just play reserves anyway so no reason I can see to make that rule.

Does Dibling remind anyone of Jack Grealish?
-
Different games, both his other appearances were against teams sat deep. Tonight he could run on to through balls and had a lot more space.

5-3, never in doubt

That's surely didn't just happen

Only 1 of their starting 11 played against Swansea at the weekend
