It's a bit of a slippery slope going down the "which musicians are paedos" route. Pretty sure a lot of people like the Rolling Stones, yet it was apparently fine for Bill Wyman to shag a 14 year old. So fine in fact that it was celebrated in the tabloids at the time which is utterly sick. There's loads of other examples, too many to mention. However none of that is remotely like MLT having some views which may be considered controversial on Twitter. Very strange that a club historian should use that as an example to try and make a clumsy point.

It would be utter carnage if we got them in the play off final. It's actually quite something to imagine just how big that game would be.

I have wondered if he was a troll but it's a pretty long-term effort for low reward if he is.

No coincidence that a lot of the biggest dickhead drivers have personalised plates.

Love the Joiners. Spoken to so many bands from all over the country who know about the history and are excited to play there. Pat is a legend.

What block is your ticket in? We normally get in the ground for a beer before kick off so if you're in the Kingsland stand let me know. Your English will be a million times better than my French!

Paul Wotton will no doubt lead them through it the same way he dragged Saints through matches with his talisman displays.

Oh no doubt you get awful games at that level too, I've seen my fair share of stinkers over the years while stood in the cold wondering what the hell I'm doing with my life. It's just different though. The stalwarts who go every week and grumble with dry humour, the old bloke with a stick who doesn't seem to age, the unreasonably cheerful woman working in the tea hut, terrible tannoys that emit random high pitched noises every once in a while, kids playing games on a grass area behind the pitch which are sometimes more entertaining than the match you paid for, the club secretary with fried egg yolk stains down his shirt. You get the odd jumped up club with a bit of cash and suspicious finances who suddenly get a couple of aging ex League 1 pros, but they quickly become the club no one else likes and invariably run into trouble. Personally I love it's charm. It's not elite sport but then it doesn't pretend to be anything other than what it is.

The only place to get that now is non-league. Obviously the standard of play isn't quite the same but you still get spectacular goals, amazing play and a lot of hard tackles. I took my kids to a load of non league games because I felt it was important for them to understand that not all football is sanitised seating, half and half scarves and people whining on the internet because the manager has picked the club captain.

Quite enjoying the bandana there. Never worn one myself. Maybe aged 47 it's time to mix up my headwear and embrace some change.

He didn't play against Hull. Maybe he should have done, we might not have lost. Basically all the people blathering on about shoehorning and tinkering have in relation to Stephens is one defeat to Millwall. Seems like a massive overreaction to one game.

My new Only Fans account is doing quite well.

That's a no then. What would you enjoy? Literally promotion or nothing? If so it's a hell of a commitment watching every game from home and shit posting on here all the time just for the slim possibility that you might be able to crack a smile as final whistle of the season is blown. Maybe get some friends and go to some games. Jump up and down and hug someone random when we score. Give it a try, it's a right good laugh.
-
Almost blew the match? It was a comfortable win. We were 2 goals up twice in the game, and for the best part of 20 minutes before the final whistle went. Does Saints winning make you happy? If so, then we've won far more games than we haven't so surely overall you must have gained more enjoyment than not from it.
-
There's countless games where the pre match thread has descended into chaos once the team selection is out only for us to end up winning. Obviously the manager will make mistakes, they all do, but most of the time Martin has been great this season which has made it a lot of fun. Maybe we'll go up, maybe we won't. But whatever happens the season has been very enjoyable as far as I'm concerned.

We only lost 1 league game when Stephens started. Charles started against Bristol City and was so poor he got dragged off at half time. That's probably why he didn't start against Hull. "Tactically some of the worst decisions we have seen in years" is a stretch considering how bad we were last season. Tinkering - it's called rotation and is fine when teams win but as soon as they don't the manager is accused of "being too clever". This is the most ridiculous phrase anyone uses on here because it insinuates the poster sat on their arse behind a screen knows more about football than a professionally trained manager. Half the posts on here make me wonder why people bother supporting a team. We've won an absolute crap load of games this year, seen some crazily exciting matches and some amazing goals. But for some reason people don't seem to enjoy any of that and spend all their time pointing out negatives. It's very weird.

Great goal. Especially funny that Chelsea fans were all booing the Mudryk sub and then Chukwuemeka scored the goal. I guess their fans aren't cleverer than their manager.
-
He didn't play against Huddersfield, Bristol City or Hull. All 3 games we started with our normal defence yet we either let in 3 goals or lost. Since then he's played 1 league game we have lost (Millwall) and 2 we have won. I couldn't really care less how many goals we let in if we get 3 points.
-
Funniest thing about that goal is that the Leicester fan who ran on the pitch a few minutes ago will have missed it.
-
The same Sterling who has won 4 league titles, 5 league cups and 1 FA Cup?
-
I'm glad they are going up. Games against them are fun, the build up is immense. One of the reasons to go to matches is the intense experience of the highs and lows of derby games. It's completely pointless having a rival if you never play them.

New 1 year contract for Lumley.
