Johansson at Rotherham is decent but seemingly current flavour of the month amongst Saints fans who were probably unaware of his existence before this season and are now stating we should sign him based on having seen him play twice in his career.

Bullishit move to placate the big clubs who moan about fixture congestion while ignoring that some of the most important moments of the cup come when a small team gets a replay away at a big team and earns a crap load of money.

Agree with all of this. It's now much better getting to the ground early, having a beer outside and then having the option to do the same at half time. Fair play to the club for addressing this already and it seems that it will be even better next season. Granted it's not for everyone but especially on sunny days there's a lot of people down at the ground and hour or so before the game having a beer or some food. Whether what there is currently counts as decent entertainment is subjective, personally I could do without bands or singers covering terrible songs!

Tough selection for the "he only picks his favourites" gang.

His shot stopping was fine about 4 seasons ago but he got old very quickly and his reactions went. If we put the McCarthy of 4 seasons ago in goal now and played the same style we'd have let in a whole bunch of goals from him passing it straight to the opposition or letting it under his foot like the Burnley keeper.

Didn't realise they had good beer in those stands, best we can do is Yeastie Boys at the bars outside the Kingsland. Was thinking about moving to the safe standing area next season so the opportunity to get a decent beer is another tick in the box.

Bree is ok but nothing more and is quite limited in some areas. I'm ambivalent towards Stephens or Bednarek as the CB partner for Harwood Bellis. Thought Stephens had a pretty good game when at CB today. Made some crucial tackles and is much better on the ball than Bednarek.

Thought he did really well when he came on. Made one great tackle on the edge of our box, got forwards a lot and then put in a good free kick which led to the corner we scored from.

Couldn't have argued with a defeat after they played Kaiser Chiefs at half time

Get the fuck in. That's for all the twats who left early while moaning as they walked out the ground

I always thought we should have bought him when he was at Oxford but he went to Leeds and did pretty well there.

Was that what the free kick was given to us for after the penalty? I couldn't work it out.

What is it people in football have against long hair? My son used to get loads of comments about his when he played. Maybe people weirdly think that players can only perform well with a certain type of hair?
-
He's a cock? Right ok, that's nice of you. Glad you have decided that. Him and Lallana in the dressing room, new mirrors. Hilarious. Obviously REAL men like you don't comb their hair, wear nice clothes or have time to check they look ok because they are too busy calling football managers childish names on the internet.

Did you miss the first goal when Stephens stepped into midfield and then passed to a full back who was ahead of him in the middle of the pitch? KWP spent a bit of time in midfield last night as one of the full backs often does. It was maybe less than some other games but we tweak tactics between matches a lot.

I've seen comments from Leeds fans tonight saying they were too slow and that Farke had got it wrong. They were also annoyed about team selection against Watford. We've had people moaning so much about Martin here and saying the Leicester and Leeds managers are far better yet if you read their forums you wouldn't think it.
-
Exactly. People only bang on about points we have dropped while forgetting that teams above us have similarly managed to not win games they should comfortably have.
-
Just looking at the last page on the way back to the car. Why would anyone say he was shit? He had a good game. Thought we played pretty well overall. Created enough chances to make it comfortable and then really limited them to only one real shot on target. The penalty decision was laughable, could see it wasn't one from the other end of the ground.

I wonder if they'll subsidise travel for this one? With the high ticket cost and the fact it's unlikely to mean anything to us it would be a good way of rewarding some of the fans who go week in week out. Personally I find the travel club lot quite tedious at away games but you can't fault their commitment so something like £10 for the coach would be a decent touch.
