  1. and its this sort of crap that drives people to extremes. Everyone goes on about the Tories winning back votes from ukip, but most ukip supporters I know are white working class males who would have voted labour in the past. it also gets me that 'we' have to be tolerant of other cultures, that show total disregard for our values, customs, cultures and most importantly ... laws if segregation is wrong, then it is wrong. Plain and simple.
  2. Not that i am a student of Islam or have professed to read the qur'an, but I am pretty sure there is no requirement for segregation when attending Labour Party meetings
  3. I guess as discrimination against women is publicly supported by the Labour Party, I am sure all of the lefties on here would be happy with a suggestion to create a separate election thread for the likes of BTF et al????
  4. Interesting article about how Australia faired well after the "Global" financial crash... (and why Brown CAN be blamed for the situation we found ourselves in, even if he didn't personally cause the crash) Sourced from The Guardian, just for the lefties... http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2013/aug/28/australia-global-economic-crisis
  5. Indeed. Begging for forgiveness is not the best way to start your pitch. Surely he knew a question like this would be coming.
  6. Morning everyone! Latest compass...
  7. Last time someone said that to me, my political compass was the last thing on my mind.... Consider yourself done....
  8. You're in....
  9. 1st draft... **** me, this is more interesting than the election
  10. Moved slightly left and become slightly more Liberal.... Some of you may suggest I am moving in the right direction. At the current rate of "progress", I will become a Leftie within the next 6 years LOL Economic Left/Right: 0.25 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 0.21 When I get a spare 20 mins, I will plot everything on the same graph. Where you sit on the graph and how accurate it is, depends on where the centre of the graph is placed. However, it is useful in seeing how you compare to other posters in terms of Leftie Vs Right and Authoritarian Vs Liberal
  11. Here you go mate..
  12. I did it back in 2009, so 6 years ago. I see that I was pretty central back then, occupying the centre ground with you and Hatch Happy to compile the list again and see if there is any movement. Here is the view on the current UK political parties.... You can take the test here.... https://www.politicalcompass.org/test/ Post your results and I will plot them
  13. Remember the political compass? A few posters are still around ....
  14. Spoil your ballot? It is essentially a protest vote. unbeknown to the authorities, there is a new party standing in Chichester, called the Johnny's Centralist Revolutionary Alliance Party. Thats right, I'm voting for J-CRAP
  15. ... And the link to the single because the lyrics are blinding mate...
  16. It was a global financial crash and by inclusion of the word global, it couldn't have all been down to Labour. However, like all crashes, it is about the readiness and contingency. The same applies to car crashes: some drivers don't speed some drivers are ready to apply the brakes some drivers wear a seatbelt some drivers turn up the radio to hear the latest single by no more boom and bust the crash might not be the drivers fault, but how they fair in such a crash, very much depends on their behaviour prior to it
  17. Build a bonfire, build a bonfire, Put a cherry on the top Put the skate ****s in the middle, And burn the ****ing lot Clap clap clap clap clap
  18. So what you are saying is that this is plain and simply down to the Bedroom Tax? Nothing else? No questions as to why they were not re-housed? No awareness of their neurological conditions and disabilities?? No questions as to why social services failed to recognise that vulnerable people were living in a tent on the moors? No comment regarding the DWP spokesperson who claims they were not sanctioned?? No, let's just blame the bedroom tax, because social services can do no wrong (http://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2014/nov/26/baby-a-died-sunderland-failures-social-services-review) I suggest that someone at the local council has some serious explaining to do. It's rather convenient to blame bedroom tax, in order to protect incompetent public sector workers who are paid to look out for such people. I expect to see sackings over this and compensation paid to the poor chap. As for the bedroom tax, as I have said, I am not a fan of it. But I am not a fan of incompetence either, especially from public servants.
  19. That's as bad as blaming the people that voted for Labour!!! Parliament was lied to. Plain and simple. The Labour government made up crap about weapons of mass destruction? (Remember 45 minutes anyone?) Had Labour been honest about the situation, then things may have been different. They may have not got support from the Tories and certainly would not have had public support.
  20. To be fair, at least Blair sent his kids to state school. If you ignore the fact that he was a muderous war criminal, at least he wasn't a hypocrite when it came to education
  21. ... but they tanked the economy on Labour's watch, who did **** all about it. Can't have a go at the tories about that... expect to say they are as bad as Labour
  22. Whilst at first this seems shocking, when you dig a bit deeper, there is more to this than simply the bedroom tax. Why pitch a tent tent up on the moors in the winter???? what the **** were social services doing?????? why didn't their family do more, like take them in for a few nights so they could get assessed??. why did they fail to attend job seeking interviews??? So whilst I agree that having your toes amputated is truly shocking, to simply blame it just on bedroom tax exonerates people who had a duty of care. If I was them, I would be taking legal action against social services. (BTW I am not saying I agree with the bedroom tax, I am merely stating that this situation was avoidable)
  23. The fact that lefties even attempt to defend complete and utter hypocrisy, just shows the delusions under which they have placed themselves. They should be stringing them up. It is quite clear quite a few labour MPs couldn't give a flying **** about the common man, as long as they can get away with making a career out of politics
  24. Still fee paying. Still a hypocrite You don't disagree with the other assertions either? let me chuck in a few more.... http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/generalelection/labour-open-to-the-charge-of-hypocrisy-after-failing-to-divulge-hedge-fund-managers-donation-10124387.html This evening Ed Balls is posing with a placard saying ban zero hour contracts, at a labour event, which used zero hour contract workers.
  25. but they are far more hypocritical... 6 MPs were charged and convicted of expenses fraud.... All Labour hariet harman knocks Osborne for having a private education, when she went to the same school abbott sending her kids to private school, whilst knocking private education labour being against zero hour contracts, when labour controlled councils employ more than 70000 on such contracts milliband re writing his fathers will to avoid inheritance tax i could go on but I am boring myself
