You make some interesting points, but I have to dispell this myth that we were a top 10 side..... 1997 = 17th 1998 = 12th 1999 = 17th 2000 = 15th 2001 = 10th 2002 = 11th 2003 = 8th 2004 = 12th 2005 = 20th In those 9 seasons we finished 8th once and 10th once, so we were definately not a top 10 side only finishing in the top 10 twice. In 5 of those seasons we finished 15th or below, so a lower to mid table side would be a more accurate description. We also finished twice inside the top 10 in the previous 9 years (88-96), so were we a top 10 side then? We certainly were in the 8 seasons to 1988 with 5 top 10 finishes.

Reminds me of a local campaign run by Beaver Tool Hire in Chichester. They had a female mannequin with a hairy bush holding a hedge trimmer. Their strapline was: "Trim your bush with a Beaver Tool" After complaints they had to take it down. Creative genius if you ask me.

I have been more supportive of the Israelies than not - I even posted the list of peoples to occupy the land dating back to the cananites, which proves the legitimacy of the Jews to live in that land. I am merely pointing out that the criticism from the lovable lefties on here is a tad hypocritical - they clearly have a problem with Israel, yet their government is not only arming the Israelies but has caused far more civilian casualties with their loving and caring policies. I have clearly defended the Israelies with their right to defend themselves, although I also think that the response is disproportionate. I would prefer action along the following lines.... 1. Issue an ultimatum to Hamas to stop firing rockets 2. If this is not met, then respond with airstrikes for 48 hours 3. Issue another ultimatum to Hamas to stop firing rockets 4.
