One of the comments at the end of the article: only time will tell but i fear that the good doctor is no knight on a white horse rather an overweight arab on a mangy donkey. LMFAO :D:D

Never been into bikes, but what about this then: 500bhp Millyard Viper V10 http://www.motorcyclenews.com/MCN/News/newsresults/videos/2009/August/aug2509-video-500bhp-v10-viper/?&R=EPI-117907

Perhaps a 40,000 all seater Sea Life Centre would have more chance of selling out in Pompey?

Sick of Spuds fans banging on about how they are top of the league, send them this:

My old man used to say... If you don't vote labour when your young, you don't have a heart If you don't vote tory when your older, you haven't got a head

So, let's get to the point. Your posts are imbalanced for the purposes of balance? Are you the Mint card of SWF (see http://www.tellyads.com/show_movie.php?filename=TA0280) and thus restoring the clever / dumb balance of this fine forum? I suppose someone needs to cover the dumb side of the equation.

Cut it out guys

To be fair, I think that was more of an issue with Millwall. They go to the trouble of shutting the Northam car park only for the away fans to mingle with the home fans going up Brittania road. If the away fans are perceived as a threat, to the extent that they need to close the car park, then why not keep them back like they used to in the good old days? I have only seen this happen a few times since being at St Mary's - Pompey games and Cardiff's first visit obviously. IMO you either let everyone out at the same time or you don't. Simples

Hey Fuengirola, You seem to have forgotten your English history.... The general election of 1841 was won by the Conservatives with Sir Robert Peel as Prime Minister. Although he had opposed income tax, an empty Exchequer and a growing deficit gave rise to the surprise return of the tax in his 1842 Budget. Peel sought only to tax those with incomes above £150, and he reduced customs duties on 750 articles out of a total number taxed of 1,200. The less wealthy benefited, and trade revived as a consequence. Source: HM Revenue & Customs http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/history/taxhis2.htm The Tories INVENTED taxing the rich and benefitting the poor decades before the Labour movement existed. Anyway, it's nice to see that Labour have done their best to reverse this "socialist" of socialist policies with the rich getting richer whilst the poor are left to fend for themselves under a Labour government. What did they say? Something about things can only get better....well for some they have.

Never tried that. Is it anything like Lasagne?

Boys Try To Set Alight Girl Cancer Victim
Johnny Bognor replied to Saint in Paradise's topic in The Lounge
At the end of the day, this is down to the parents as 7 and 10 year olds are not intrinsically evil. What prospects do these boys and many like them have in life? One could argue that you have to tackle the root causes of the problem, but this could take decades to achieve. It should still be done, but this won't happen for 20-30 years. In the meantime, if there was ever a case for means testing the parental capability of people, this is it. Perhaps we should have a licensing system, where people have to take lessons and only get a licence on the back of a test? You can only drive on the road if you prove you are capable, but you can breed as much as you like without having to accept any of the consequences. -
Well we have beaten Charlton (the current league leaders) on attendances. Leeds are a bigger club and have you ever been to Norwich? There's nothing to do there so you may as well go to the footie.

Still quicker and possibly cheaper than the Eurostar. As for toilet usage, just go for a wee wee in the airport before you board.
-
OK, those on here that are for his release seem to be on the grounds of an apparent miscarriage of justice - this is totally different to being released on compassionate grounds. Therefore, let me ask the following question: If he was nailed on guilty, admitted to it and there was no doubt about his conviction, would those in favour of his release still be in favour of releasing a convicted terrorist on compassionate grounds?
-
Paris to Eastleigh = £31 with Flybe. Seems like the best way, only 1 hour 10 minutes and probably a lot cheaper than Eurostar. Flight back sunday evening is £63.

Only if the Labour scum that attacked Iraq illegally (and were ultimately responsible for many more deaths) rot in an Iraqi prison. See where the blame game leads you?
-
I think you may have stumbled on the reason for this substantial increase in Season Tickets.
-
Fair play, I say. A massive increase over last season (circa 19%), which is impressive considering we are in our worst league position for over 30 years, having started on -10 points. That is without considering that we are in the worst recession since WW2.
-
Phew, thank god for that. Would you free Rhys Jones' killer (Sean Mercer) as he was not actually trying to kill poor Rhys at the time? The bullet was meant for a rival gang member and unfortunately Sean missed his intended target. Perhaps we should put Sean through counselling to cope with the stress of the whole situation? Or perhaps we should send him on target practice sessions so that when he is released early on compassionate grounds, he won't kill anyone innocent next time? Do I get some champers now?
-
If I was innocent when accused of a henious crime, and had only 3 months to live, I would want to clear my name. I would not want to die a convicted mass murderer. If there were grounds for appeal, which may prove my innocence, I would jump at the chance. I think the appeal and subsequent dropping of it was just playing politics, meanwhile the 270 families affected by this terrible crime continue to suffer.
-
So he was imprisoned for killing 270 people and served 8 years. I make that 11 days served for each life taken. I hope the **** dies slowly in excruciating pain. For once I agree with a Labour politician..... "While one can have sympathy for the family of a gravely ill prisoner, on balance, our duty is to honour and respect the victims of Lockerbie and have compassion for them. The SNP's handling of this case has let down Scotland." IAIN GRAY, SCOTTISH LABOUR LEADER

Granted he has and will not just throw money at the problem, but if we are in the proverbial at xmas, he won't stand idly by. Relegation will be seen as a failure and people like ML don't do failure. I agree to an extent whereby he isn't going to throw sack loads of cash at the club, but at the end of the day, you don't buy a club like Saints in the state that it was without expecting to spend something. It is akin to buying an old derelict house, whereby due diligence was like a full structural survey. To restore it to its former glory you have to invest something as you can't live in it if the roof is leaking. We have got a big name manager (proven in this league) and have made some good signings - Lambert could be the signing of the season in this league and that is before considering that hanging on to KD looks like the second best. On top of that, we have got a few more to come and it is quite refreshing to look at who we will be signing rather than who we will be selling. Why would the fans walk away at this stage?

Ah, but if you were a complete tosser to start with, then your boss leaves, you will continue to be a tosser until the new boss kicks your butt. Simples.
