  1. You can CHAPS the money usually for £25 per payment, but across the squad, they will probably need to take out another loan to cover the £500 CHAPS charges.
  2. I was thinking along the same lines. One minute the moeny is in the bank, the next, there will be an injection of funds. Either he has it or he doesn't. Or maybe there will be another injection possibly at some point in the future. Or am I reading in to this too much?
  3. :smt038:smt038:smt038:smt038:smt038 I have to say, you are one of the more agreeable lefties on this forum as you clearly display a good grounding in common sense. Groups like the UAF are as hypocritical as the groups they purport to oppose.
  4. This made me laugh this morning..... Please hurry while stocks last???? Don't they mean, please hurry while the club lasts???? ....and what is that about No VAT increase??? They are already in trouble with HMRC and are now not charging VAT correctly??????
  5. I went to Sainsburys in Chichester last night and they had completely sold out of bread at 8pm. The problem is that when there is panick buying you then tend to follow the pack. I was determined to buy some bread, if it bloody killed me. I drove round 3 convenience stores and 2 petrol stations to find a poxy loaf of no crust bread, as that was all that was left. Size does not matter, it's what you can do with it (apparently).
  6. Hello mate. The good news is that I don't have to watch Celebrity BB, the bad news is everyone on here is stuck with me for the evening
  7. 3 inches in Chichester now...... ...has anyone else lost Sky as we seem to have lost it round here????
  8. It seems as though the key players in PFC are somewhat polarised whilst some are skating on thin ice and this saga drifts on and on. Those of us who are on the pompey boards seem to be getting a frosty reception and there is no sign of a thaw anytime soon. Seriously, though, what are the chances of some of the players acting on their 14 day notice period? Has there been a precedent of players cancelling their contracts with other clubs?
  9. Very good BTF As for players being paid, I suppose it depends on weather or not they get the cash in time.
  10. It snow laughing matter
  11. Indeed, it snow joke.
  12. Eskimos never fail to get to work and home again, so you should be fine.
  13. Snowfall's intensity is determined by visibility. When the visibility is over 1 kilometer (0.62 mi), snow is considered light. Moderate snow describes snowfall with visibility restrictions between 0.5 and 1 km. Heavy snowfall describes conditions when visibility is less than 0.5 km.
  14. Sit next to a Palace fan at work, he is one of their better players according to him.
  15. You forgot, we make better downfall films than you do http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bT_DZuT8euw
  16. Prior to 911, the UK/US/NATO intervened (against the wishes of the UN) in Bosnia and Kosovo. The 1995 intervention in Bosnia halted Serbian attacks in which some 200,000 people, the majority of them Muslims, were killed, and thousands of more people were raped, tortured, and driven from their homes. The 1999 bombing of Serbia prevented the expulsion from Kosovo of two million ethnic Albanians, of whom at least 80 percent were Muslims. You could even argue that the first gulf war was to free the Muslims of Kuwait against a foreign agressor. What I don't get about all this is that the feelings towards "us" are based on so called foreign policies of the last 10 years, but do "we" not get any credit for the previous 10 years or is this conveniently forgotton? Perhaps someone more informed on the subject could enlighten me.
  17. Yes you are right, in the same way as I am incited by teachers who ignore the point being made in order to concentrate on spelling and gramma
  18. The point I was making was the oh so prescious rights of freedom of speech are unequally applied. They will be allowed their march, but would I be allowed my cultural extravaganza? I think not. Either it should be freedom of speech for all, or not freedom of speech at all. They managed to stop this guy.... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brian_Haw ...as it didn't suit Nu Labours agenda. I don't see them stopping this march which is designed to provoke and insight.
  19. This morning, Gordon Brown says that Labour will GUARANTEE growth this year. He can't help himself, can he?
  20. In that case, I am going to march up and down Wootten Bassett with a large copy of the Satanic Verses. I will also display those sketches by that Danish artist in a Wooton Bassett art exhibition. It won't be a protest, just an appreciation of art and literature. Coincidentally, I will choose to do it on the same day as the Islamic march. Do you think I will be allowed to do this? Or, will my right to freedom of speech be supressed? I guess the latter.
  21. There were references to SWF and Corpy, which is OK for here, but less relevant to the wider audience, so need to change it (i.e. "Corpy's on gardening leave"). Why, do you prefer V1.0? (if so, I can re-upload it and give people both options)
  22. I wouldn't say "scarce" in Chichester, as it is definately the wrong shade of blue. In recent years (since 2003) there has been a massive increase in the number of vile shirts being worn - however, these JCL's will disappear as quickly as they arrived once this season is out. In the years when I used to go out (in the distant past), there were plenty of 'lads' that professed to be skate, and I used to get shedloads of abuse (at the very least) on any average night out - sometimes the abuse went too far. I always viewed the A29 between Fontwell and Bognor as the border between the Skates and Brighton where as you say, no skate to the east.
