Agree completely.......those who doubt this just spend a few minutes watching how Hammond directs play and also tucks in and covers whenever other players are out of position during an attack. I also think this aspect of Hammond's game is allowed to flourish with Chaplow in the team as it allows us to seamlessly change to Adkins 'diamond' formation during a game with the aforementioned players a natural top and bottom point of that system.

With the new rules governing football finance coming in ,the importance of spending on 'infrastructure' will grow.

Whilst full stadiums certainly are part of the overall package,at premiership level the sky subscriptions are far more important to clubs than the gate receipts.

I spoke to the ticket office today. Ticket details will come out later this month and i can buy a new ST for my son whilst renewing mine.

This is roughly my situation except i have a 11 year old son desperate to go regularly next season. I don't think i'm going to stretch to 2 season tickets, so i may have to miss a few next year and am already starting to feel the pain!! How many of the so called 'plastics' on saturday would dearly love to be there every week?

The crowd was full of part-timers today due to the tie-up with the Manure game. This showed by the amount of really uneducated blathering going on around me. I laughed out loud today when such genius almost burst an artery as we were keeping possession in injury time with his cry of "GET IT FORRRRRRRWARRRRRD" ,delivered with full "Hampshire twang".

Great night....was only few hundred saints fans on that big away terrace but they roped us all in to one area like sardines. Ended up being top atmosphere and was chaos when giggs missed the pen. Only noticed Flowers when he reached our end!!
