The9. You are correct. Also I noticed at the City game you could still see the outline of 'Friends Provident' on the stadium so I'd assume the whole lot will be redone. Exciting stuff!

Now we're safe, what a shame we didn't win the semi-final
Golden Balls replied to Shroppie's topic in The Saints
I think had we won the semi final and everything else went the same way, we'd be riding the crest of a wave and beat United. All ifs and buts. Things would be different had we had a cup final coming up. -
Looks like the same font used at The Dell.

Looks off centre to me

The best player in MLS ever.... Bradley Wright-Phillips?
Golden Balls replied to lumuah's topic in The Saints
Like being the best looking woman in Portsmouth - it's not hard. -
Would be amazed if the club haven't looked into moving the away fans as it's splits our vocal section(s). Assume it's still the policing reason. Only way to overcome it would be to move all the vocal supports from the Itchen North, Kingsland North and Northam to the Chapel and make that the "Kop" type stand.

I see they've decided not to go with an U23s side this year as they can't afford it.
-
Makes sense. Students don't pay tax either.

Great atmosphere which has been rare since Koeman left. Was good to see the ground pretty much full at the final whistle and every stand joining in. More of the same please.
-
Managed to skip my way through the history lessons. Redmond has to start. His recent sub appearances have been good. Lemina shouldn't even make the bench. Would like to see JWP involved purely for set pieces. Hoedt out and go for a back 4. We need to attack. However, I think Swansea will probably get a result against Chelsea.

'retaining the atmosphere and intensity of the most passion-filled ground in the country'. They can never help themselves can they?
-
We all know they'll spin the "more games for the same price" line. Then if we got promoted, they'll dump all over that logic by putting the price up. The greed in football (especially SFC) is sickening.
-
Bring Pelle back with them.
-
That didn't happen though. Stood behind the goal, I hardly heard them. Watched the game back on TV and apart from instantly after their goals and one song about Tottenham, they were silent. Even when the Wembley PA system played their singalong songs, they didn't join in.

Our fans weren't THAT bad. Especially considering the circumstances. I purposely got a ticket behind the goal knowing it will be for people who want to stand. Which they did. But so many moaners. Bloke next to me was having a right go at the row in front for standing. Yet there were 10 rows in front of them standing. Asked him where he usually sits at SMS. Kingsland. Obviously. Noticed a block over the stewards were constantly getting people to sit down for the full 90 mins. Had video cameras in peoples faces and everything. I'm sure at the League Cup Final people unofficially organised that those who usually sing and stand would group together in certain blocks. Didn't seem to happen this time which had a negative affect. Noticed the whole Chelsea end was sat down and very quiet.

Brilliant result for them today. Remember, they don't want to get promoted so well played to them.

Can't see past a professional Chelsea win. Not giving us much of a sniff and being clinical. I'd say 3-0. Only way we'd win it is by doing exactly what we did against Liverpool last season. Stay as tight as possible, break when you get the chance and get a s_it load of luck along the way.
-
Bit of a win/win really. They stay down, hilarious. They go up, they're apparently totally unprepared and would get smashed every week. To quote @JDaviesUpNorth, they'll "take the league by storm next season".
-
I'm not. I just would. Despite you not agreeing.
-
Right now, I'd take a scenario of going into the last game with it in our own hands.
-
Nope
-
No.

Better off giving a few thousand of the tickets to local schools or something.

I lumped £100 on at 9/1. Would rather not win but at least my season ticket will be free next year.
