18 games (plus FA Cup) is still a long way to go. We have to keep our key players fit and buy another striker to get there. I'm doing my best to not get my hopes up. It's difficult. We could really do with Kane and Sanchez to lose form/get injured. Also for both their clubs to stay in Europe as long as possible but without Arsenal winning it. I'll let myself get excited if we're still 3rd in April. (I said the same about January)

Can't see him leaving mid season. Maybe in the summer. And Barca probably know that. Gives them time to assess his abilities and make a move.

I say it all the time. To beat a 'big' team you have to beat 12 men. It wasn't just the shirt pulling. He gave united every tiny decision and only gave us blatantly obvious free kicks. Even then he still didn't give us some obvious ones. They're ruled by fear. They're scared if they give something against a big team that ends in a goal it will be scrutinised for a week.

Will be awkward for the likes of Morgan who would have use CL football as the excuse.

GK and Striker

Bloody brilliant. I do like how their lot come out with "why do they care about us? Obsessed" all the time. Yet for 7-8 years you couldn't shut them up. Can't they get their head around them being our rivals? What sort of rivalry would it be if you didn't enjoy being superior? They only say it because they have nothing and think it'll shut us up. Meanwhile, I'll continue to wind them up and enjoy our superiority, no matter how far they sink. Oh and I've heard the "I'd rather be in L2 with our history than be in the PL with theirs" so many times - how satisfying can reading a record book of achievements be when you weren't alive to enjoy it? Bizarre. Personally I'd rather have something to look forward to that I might experience than enjoy the fact my great grandad saw us achieve something once. Straw clutching at it's very finest.

Like the idea of just swapping everyones seats in the Northam with people in the corresponding blocks/rows in the Chapel so you're still sat around the people you were before. Only problem is half the Chapel would be quiet seated people and half would be Northam. Might take a while to spread to the whole Chapel.

If something like that was possible for one end, it would work really well. Probably still needs to be the Chapel as too much would still be taken by away fans in the Northam. If we expanded the chapel like that, I think that would be enough for fans to move.
