More of a ale drinker myself. For a sessionable lager Carlsberg is alright. It is available in a fair few pubs and bars around Southampton as Carlsberg supply some of the bigger groups and insist on stocking their lagers (Carlsberg, San Miguel etc). Seems Czech beers are finally getting going around here. Kozel is 4%, easy to drink and full of taste.

Surely someone can edit this. A great way to describe Portsmyths.

Never has a set of fans celebrated a league draw for so long.

Bless 'em. They still celebrate a draw that saw them drop 2 points on their way to relegation and add a point towards our total to be promoted.

Would love Villa, Sunderland and QPR to go down. Will never happen though. Want Bounemouth and Norwich to come up. Watford in the Play offs. Anyone but Boro. Would be great to have another south coast team in the prem while the skates rot in division 4.

I tend to ignore it as I want them to do well. A few dickhead fans won't put me off.

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbank seems to be doing alright. Chris Powell had a decent spell at Charlton until he was sacked after they went on a terrible run and were bottom of the league. He was out of work for less than 6 months. Chris Hughton has never struggled for work. Chris Ramsey is currently in the hot seat at a premier league club. He's not doing too well but you can't tell me that if he managed to guide QPR from relegation to top half that he wouldn't be offered a job. Chris Kiwomya had a poor record at Notts County. Frank Rijkaard has rejected a few Premier League jobs. Paul Ince and John Barnes have been pretty terrible. So no. Complete myth that there are a lack of black managers because of racism. And if a rule is bought in to positive/reverse discrimination it will only lead to causing racism. Hire the best man for the job...that will never include John Barnes.

They won't go down due to that good run they had which seems to have saved them. However, Eastleigh are well in the mix to come up. Pomp*y Vs Eastleigh in a league fixture would be hilarious.

That's not a lot of time to renew. Was hoping to pay for mine with my annual bonus which comes in the June pay packet. Still, decent pricing. How many did we sell for this season? Would expect it to increase.

On one hand you want to commend them on offering cheap football but then you realise all this does is highlight how many freebies they're giving away to schools, under 10s, the Navy, competitions and literally anyone that will take them to boost attendances. Would be interesting to see what these attendances are like in their 3rd season of 4th division football when everyone has to pay and they are forced to discount less.

What are the rest of L2 wages like? I can't imagine there's anyone with higher. So with (presumably) the highest wages in the division, with the most intimidating home in world football attended by the bestest fans in the galaxy, they have managed to scrape to mid table in the 4th division!

Glad to see they're not trying to completely con us. With inflation at 0%, announcing a profit this week and rumours of more players leaving again, increasing prices would have been a joke. Hope they make a small gesture next year of a 3-5% decrease in prices when the new TV money comes in. Would be great to lead the way. Would show what sort of "community club" Rodgers mentioned.

Reading that is quite worrying in a way. They sound like they're just a matter of time away until something serious happens which could result in a huge bill or even worse result in injuries.

Mate of mine is a Shrewsbury fan. He just text me this... "Pfc fans were shocking. Thought they were meant to be amazing. Could hear a pin drop between their booing." He's clearly mistaken though. Can only assume he was overwhelmed with excitement after winning a cup final.

No they're not. It's simple supply and demand. It's not done on the quality of opposition, it's popularity. So if we ever played the skates in a league game again it would be Cat A. Move on.
