Such a shame with Gaston. Clearly talented but not suited to English football. He goes missing for long periods but I still think he worth being on the bench as an option. He can do naff all for the whole game but then produce a killer pass for a goal. That makes him more effective than JWP in my opinion.

I thought the atmosphere kept going from good to bad. There were some sections of the game where it was proper loud and really decent. Then you watch it back on Sky+ and it seems like it's silent. Do they turn off the microphones near the Northam or something?

Just flicking through TimeHop this morning and it seems they have previous for this as recently as 2 years ago. What a horrible bunch they are. Coincidently on the same day there's the next tweet which is a skate admitting they lack atmosphere.

Bertrand and Forster will be in there when fit. I do miss our English core we had under Poch. Shaw, Lambert, Clyne, Lallana, Lambert, JRod, Puncheon and Cork. For some reason I felt more of a connection and more pride to that team.

After I criticised him, got to say he had a decent game today. Still disappeared for patches of the game which is strange when we were so dominant. But yes, probably his best game today.

Always noticed that with Norwich fans. Seems all of them take a scarf and shirt. Even the OAPs. Thought it was odd but each to their own. They were very quiet today though.

Great performance from him today. I think he's one of those player who when the team are playing well, he plays well. If we're on the back foot he'll go missing.

I'm not going to single him out for last night as there were very few players who did anything well. But JWP has never had a good game imo. He'll get the odd 6 or 7/10 but mostly he's not involved and has a negative impact. I'd much rather have Gaston in AM than him. He seems to have a good dead ball delivery but we rarely seem to make anything of it, so is that another myth? Maybe he'll come good. I hope he does. But I've seen nothing to suggest he will.

Yeah that's what I was getting at. It forces our hand. I agree with the Clyne thing. He definitely took his foot off the peddle. That Leicester 'performance' was the best example of that. He didn't want to be there.

If he does sign, I wonder if we'll go for a 5 year contract to avoid situations we've faced recently.

I s**t you not, 2 of my skate mates genuinely said this to me yesterday. "I might start going down there again now they're winning". They haven't been to a game since the 2-2 victory at SMS. They are self confessed fair weather fans though. And quite openly admit they're gobby when things are going their way. They're typical skates in the way they 'banter' ("won the league twice" blah blah blah) but are decent enough to admit they're actually s**t fair weather fans.

Having worked down there for the last 5 years, and it's on the road so I see a fair bit of the city, it is far from affluent. Every city has it's nice and s**t bits. They just have far more s**t bits.
