At half time, every fan was saying "we should be more than 1 up. We'll pay for that". If the fans can see that, so can the players. When we dominate and don't put the game to bed, the heads drop. The opposition only need 1 half chance and suddenly we go deep and you just wait for the goal to happen. Like you say, we lack leadership.

Apparently they had a free kick go wide. The tannoy bloke got a bit ahead of himself and announced the goal scorer. This game will forever be remembered as the game they actually won 1-0 #Portsmyth

You'd think they'd avoid mentioning attendance like the plague. But I think in their world of Portsmyths they genuinely believe they have a bigger following.

They're 4 points off slipping out of the play offs with a lot of teams below having a game in hand (Accrington have 3 games in hand). I can't see them not going up but they are a small poor run away from slipping out of the play offs.

I was in a meeting this week and 2 employees of The News were there. Got chatting to one afterwards and mentioned I was a scummer. Eventually this thread got mentioned and he laughed. If he could be at his best 100% of the time he would be fantastic. But his best is few and far between. He's a great presence in the side and a very good player for us. But his lack of consistency, passing ability and goals mean he wouldn't suit a top club yet. He can get away with it here. He won't get let off at a top 4 side.
