Like someone has already pointed out, the prem is really bad this year! It's got a lot of teams who will really struggle. Pomp*y will be one of them but they might get lucky (as always) as I think there are 3-4 teams worse than them. Hull, Wigan, Wolves, Burnley, Brum and even Bolton and Stoke I feel will struggle just as much. Either way, we're not really in a place to take the p*ss just yet, having 7 less points and being bottom of a league far below theirs...

all i have heard now is that it all kicked off in yates and this person was stabbed outside. I did witness a large 30 something knock out a teenager. He attacked him from behind. Shame.

I really dont know how true this is but apparently a saints fan was stabbed and killed by a Millwall fan today. I did see quite a bit of trouble near the green tunnel today. The police seemed scared to get involved. Not sure if thats what it was. Anyway, if true. RIP

The homestay was great. It had everything you need. (flushing toilets, shower, beds, tv and even internet) Over here the house would be considered a bit crap despite the size. However its a palace compared to the majority of Kenya. I'm not 100% sure the exact amount the people taking you in get. They do make profit I imagine as its their job however they have done charity work all their lives and set up schools etc. They are always looking to help out people around them. I know the money you pay to go out there, a large chunk is invested into the projects, hence why I went with that company. Yes as well as taking football training you can take part in matches etc. You always take part in the projects you're doing (teaching, conservation etc) but I believe you can pay extra and they sort out things like Safari, climbing Mount Kenya, learning Swahili etc. Thats what I did and well worth it. It really does feel like you make a difference. Especially in the schools!! I always felt the children listened more just because I was white. Sounds silly but they just assume white people are highly educated. Kenya is the cheapest place I have ever been! You can get a really nice 3 course meal for about £2! They economy is crippled even compared to ours. Mainly because of their government. I came back with a lot of change!!!

Can add 17 to that as it's my brothers birthday and we're making a day of it. Getting tickets tomorrow.

My mate was the one who sorted it all out. I just gave him the money. From the way he told me I assumed the flights came with it but seems not. The flights he got us were about £300 return. I would highly recommend this trip. Was amazing some of the stuff I saw and did. And a big thank you to everyone who donated. The people loved the Saints shirts I had as well as everything else of course! Played football with a local team while out there. My god they can run!!!

What I would do for a good real ale inside the ground!!!! At cardiff they pour their pints from cans out of a fridge. The selection was wide aswell. Add that to a great low roof providing a great atmosphere, the match build up and half time was always fantastic!!! I'm sure it will change in their new stadium though.

Teams will put 10 or even 11 men behind the ball when playing us. We wont be a team scoring lots of goals.

At the very best we'll lose one of Stern, Rasiak or saga. I think we'll be very lucky have have just one of them come the end of the transfer window. (Sorry mods if this shouldn't be on the main board, feel free to move) On 6th July I am travelling to Kenya to do some volunteering. I shall be doing some building work and quite a bit of football coaching. I am planning to take over an extra suitcase which will be full of equipment for the young Kenyans. If anyone has any old equipment they would like to donate, please get in touch. Things I am looking to take are; Bibs, water bottles, kit bags, footballs, cones, football shirts and shorts etc. Of course I would much prefer it to be stuff with a nice big Saints badge on but obviously will accept anything. So if you do have any old saints shirts lying around and fancy freeing up the space, please PM me or reply and it will be much appreciated. I happy to come and collect these items if its in the Southampton area.
