From Wiki: "Since leaving The Saints, Rofe has been engaged as a match summariser on BBC Radio 5, and spent the summer of 2006 working in the Bahamas alongside Luther Blissett at the annual Premier League Soccer Camp.[6] He is also working as the Football League's regional youth development officer. Think I saw that from the Northam. I thought he just made a good catch rather than foot control. Looked like AP had a word too...
-
Doing this leaves us just outside the play offs with a couple of games in hand. All things considered (no pre-season, building a team half way through the season, physiological effect of the -10 etc) a good effeort I would say.

Was decent on Saturday. The morons at the back ruin most songs. Wer just need to keep singing slow over them. 'Alan Pardews red & white army' was going very well until they joined in...
-
Lallana will go imo. By the sounds of interviews from AP at the beginning of the season, he had to do quite a bit of convincing to make him stay. The rest must have realised that when they joined that there was a strong possibility that we wouldn't go up this season.

Wayne Bridge elbowed me in the head when I was 14 and didn't even say sorry! I'm never going to shake his hand again!!!

Same. I would love to see us do it but I just can't see it. And if I were a non SFC fan, I wouldn't think we had a hope in hell! Like you said, despite that, what a cracking season! I've had a lot of fun already! -
Why do all Pompey fans have Mockney accents?

I've found this a lot too. Everytime I meet people from north of Birmingham they think I am some sort of ****ney. Also, if I meet any Londoners, I'm confused for some sort of farmer. That said, people from portsmuff do have some sort of fake London accent. Quite funny really. -
Seen this posted before. I like it.

The balls is what will cost you! You think you will be reserved....you wont! And when you have no paintballs left, it obviously becomes very very rubbish! I'm guessing you have got that quote from Delta Force? Decent place but the games are usually in quite a small section. I think there is one in Botley called Ambush! Much bigger meaning more movement, rahter than dodging constantly. Plus you tend to use less balls.

Before the transfer window I could see the reasoning behind it. But as there is still a long way to go in the FA Cup in January, I don't think the rule now needs to apply.
-
I thought this too....but as everyone knows, the FA hates to lose out on money. They will like a game to go ahead.
-
I like your theory. And as is usually the case in the 2nd half of the season, teams at the bottom start to pick up more points, meaning teams at the top will be losing points. As long as we don't fall into that group then hopefully we'll start making ground on them very soon. Norwich would be a very big game if we win!

As we were walking out the police were making things a lot worse being total jobs worth.

As good as the "Pay up pompey" song is....please don't sing it. I just sounds too much like "play up..." Stick to "wind up..." or "***** off..."

Was in block 28, first time out of the Northam in a few years. I expected it to sound a lot louder than it was. Looked good when the whole stand did a disco. Was also surprised how much the Chapel and Kingsland south join in. It's not very loud but generally any songs without clapping get going quite well.

The one big difference between smoking and drinking is that smoking directly has a negative effect on your health, whereas alcohol, when drinking it responsibly, does not have a negative effect on your health. In fact it can have a positive effect. Obviously if used irresponsibly then alcohol becomes dangerous. It's like if you have a car. Drive it responsibly and generally it's fine. But drive it irresponsibly then it becomes dangerous. In fact it's worse than alcohol as it becomes dangerous for others. Therefore it is unlikely you will see it go down the route of fags. Advertising will continue, but it has changed dramatically over the last few years to make it 'responsible' No longer can they advertise using sex, free pouring alcohol, violence, too much fun, more than one drink per person etc. So much so in the Martini ads with George Clooney, he was carrying more than one bottle of Martini, so they had to add in a party in the back ground to make it out like he was taking the drink for others. This ad wasn't that long ago and pretty much includes all the above. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aOWIyb53pWQ
