This is why I can't see it happening. They are too scared of the backlash from those families who will be unlikely to allow this to happen without a very public and shouty fight.

True. There was a huge group of scallywags I used to drink with at home and away games. Pretty much all of them don't go anymore. A few reasons why. Some don't like the atmosphere at games now. Some now have a family. Quite a lot have been priced out. Quite a lot just stream the games and have mates over. Some have managed to get banned.

I've been to the majority of PL grounds and SMS isn't anywhere near the worst for atmosphere. Not even bottom half. We are louder and have more songs than most. Probably says more about other fans than ours though. The atmosphere would be much better if we just moved the away fans to one side and took the whole northam. As for Leicester. Clappers? Goal music? Poznan? No thanks.

VVD is on a very long contract. We have no reason to consider anything less than £50m. Don't match that, he stays. Win/win.

What a strike that is. Those who want him recalled will continue to increase but it's best he continues the good work and playing as often as possible. Maybe next season is the one for him

Got to hold my hands up and say I was wrong. It just didn't feel right from day 1 for me. Then the first few games the tactics looked all over the place, the subs were so bad people booed, his interviews were completely uninspiring and the players body language was awful. In a very short space of time that has all been reversed (apart for the interviews[emoji6]) All I ask from him is to take the cups seriously. We need to win a trophy whilst we continue to be in a position to do so.

Basically pour you own pints from a tap on the table and there's a screen with a league table showing your drinking vs the other tables. Then there's also a league for that pub Vs the other pubs around the world. Good fun! We'll be there Wednesday evening so you'll be battling for 2nd.

Exactly what the majority of Italian fans and all the Italian press are saying. Which would suggest any wrong behaviour was a tiny minority. Take 7000+ fans from any club in the world and you'll always get at least 20-30 idiots. Probably a lot more. Fortunately these idiots didn't get violent and to my knowledge nobody was hurt.
