  1. Les says they already know who the next manager is before they lose the current one. Time to see their next one.
  2. So true, unfortunately. Just get the feeling Reed is too stubborn to admit a mistake. They'll certainly hold out to see how we get on the the EFL cup. But either way, he has to go IMO.
  3. Haha f***in hell. They can't even rig a vote properly.
  4. Good work. I could have told you that you'd get "Norrised" as that's the way they are. Has he blocked you yet?
  5. I sat in the Bournemouth end and cheered all our goals. Couldn't do that against the skates.
  6. Not the sharpest bunch are they...
  7. My one vote against them seems to have knocked them down to 3rd. Note you have to vote on the atmosphere drop down, not just the overall rating. And you can do half a star. Also voted up Swansea and us cos I'm a proper nutjob.
  8. When I was growing up in the 90s we only played them once in about 15-16 years. I knew I was supposed to hate Pompey but in reality I didn't. They didn't matter to me. That mirror link isn't the one I'm thinking of but seems very similar. There was a table and each club had the PL team they disliked the most and liked the most. Then there was an overall result of most liked to hated. Bournemouth were most liked, we were 2nd and Bournemouth were our most liked. Spurs were our most disliked.
  9. Got chatting to a fairly open and honest Bournemouth fan yesterday. He admitted they want it to become a fierce Derby as they don't have one. He's in his 30s and said he can't really brings himself to hate Saints as deep down he doesn't. But the newer generation of their fans coming through are hellbent on making it a Derby, calling us scummers, singing songs about us and even wanting a bit of trouble. Annoyingly this will probably only grow as time goes on. Well, for as long as we're in the same division. Our younger lot won't remember a Pompey game and maybe turn to Bournemouth to get their fix. Wasn't there a survey last year about most hated and liked teams by each club. Our most liked was Bournemouth. Their most hated was us. Says it all.
  10. Trains look lovely for Sunday :/
  11. To me the football is boring and the players look frustrated at the way they're being told to play. Occasionally we bring out a bit of pressing play. We did it against Everton and Boro a bit and it worked really well. The players looked fired up and the crowd got going. Unfortunately that doesn't happen often or for long enough and the players are clearly told when they have possession to retain it at all costs, which is just ****. Puel is lucky he inherited some fantastic players. It's those players that mean this lack of cutting edge and poor football won't see us get into a relegation fight (yet). One positive, he plays youth. Which I think will help him retain his job for a while yet. I look forward to seeing how Bournemouth play on Sunday. They'll play a great brand of football, with a real edge and fight to their game and will most likely win by 2+ goals. Their players aren't better, their manager is.
  12. Tbh I'm pretty pîssed off with how our season has gone so far but I don't feel this song has had any influence on that.
  13. If that clause is true then whoever signed it off needs to hand in their resignation. Would be a massive **** up! Seems odd it's come out randomly now. Agent?
  14. Yeah, a really good price which ensures it's accessible to everyone and will be a sell out. Well done to the club.
  15. Yet you ask any of the blue few and they think they're hard done by with their treatment from the FL/FA
  16. Spot on. The sooner they accept where they are and how big they aren't, the more they'll enjoy supporting a crap team. Of course we know that won't happen and that is why this thread will live on.
  17. Great to be able to finally hear it but Christ they're making up for years of it being ****. Could hear the music half way across Itchen Bridge. And The Woolston Ferry.
  18. I would be livid if he went to a club like Everton for £30m with 5.5 years left on his contract.
  19. Fantastic debut. Showing the likes of Boufal and Rodriguez how it's done. Maybe confirmation that it's safe to send JRod out on loan.
  20. Indeed. They came out with fire in their bellies and looked like they had something to prove.
  21. I don't boo often. Can't actually remember the last time I did. But at that final whistle they needed to know it wasn't acceptable. They got very good support right the way through the game. Yoshida looked hurt by it. VVD looked like he understood the reaction. Shane Long can just do one. Special mention to the teenage scarfer who decided to give it the big one to anyone booing. You made me laugh at a really disappointing moment. Really embarrassed yourself
  22. Good going for an Island with a supposed Community Club.
  23. Not the most charismatic
  24. The bestest would have you believe that this booing is a new thing from fans who aren't real fans. But one year ago today.... IMO, they're the worstest.
