Just got in from work. Absolutely shattered. The traffic back was awful and had to drop friends home too. Got to bed at 5am but was too buzzing to sleep until 6am. Got up at 7am. So so worth it just for that goal. The whole game was so tense. But the bundles when the ball hit the net were incredible. Better than any Pompey game. Better than Derby in the playoffs. Better than promotion. I was only a few rows back in the corner. To me our noise actually didn't seem that loud. It felt really nervous. Still decent but cautious. Probably just my positioning. Thank you Shane. Thank you Saints.

There are problems other than Puel. That doesn't mean Puel isn't a problem. We play the worst football style I've ever seen. So negative and just boring. When we concede we never look like getting back into the game. The manner we lose is terrible. Europe was a disaster. People blame the strikers finishing but who trains them? Who sends them out? The over rotation kills confidence and partnerships. JRod scores and is then dropped. Sims is man of the match and then dropped. How can players gain confidence and understanding? This is down to the manager. To me, the players don't seem to be playing for him at all. The EFL cup has been the 1 highlight. Let's hope he doesn't think defending a 1-0 lead with a line of 2 on the edge of the box at Anfield is the way to go through. We shall see.

Good results for them really. Win their game in hand and they go into the automatic promotion.
