Nigel Adkins failed in his pursuit to sign the highly-rated forward during last summer's transfer window, but it appears the club have now gone back in for the 22-year-old as they look to strengthen the squad for their Premier League return. The Clarets are ideally hoping to receive £8m for the player, who has one year left to run on his contract, but are said to be mulling over the offer from Saints.
