  1. She's 16, go for it.
  2. To be fair, the original poster said nothing about Saga being mad to go.
  3. I was not aware of this. I shall be watching it at the first opportunity now.
  4. Exactly - I have nothing against him and i'm sure he is effective in his own position. However, you need different attributes to play in different positions and he just doesn't have the ones needed to play RB.
  5. Exit, please tell me you got James and Cork mixed up there
  6. I don't think it's made any difference. We have much more stewards now than we used to - especially around the edge of the pitch. There was a steward every 2 metres. Also, in the Kingsland north, they still had the same amount of staff working in the bar/diner. So please someone explain where we are saving money? If we are talking about "necessary evils", surely we should close the whole of the Chapel or the whole of the Kingsland? This would save on stewards and medical staff for the whole stand.
  7. Gutted to be honest. We could really regret letting him go - or Ipswich could never give him a chance and he will fall into non-league football. I think the former, FWIW.
  8. Cork at RB, Wotton at CB. Wotton has impressed me massively so far, looks much better than most of us thought. His passing in particular has surprised me. To be honest, I would drop Gillett and play Wotton and Morgan in DM. Not through Gillett doing anything wrong - just playing our best players in their best positions.
  9. He wanted to leave as we couldn't guarantee him first team football. We wanted to keep him.
  10. Have you seen him play yet? He's f*cking awful.
  11. I'm not saying we didn't, but in every game i've seen the opposition has played good football too. I think the standard of football on a whole in this league has been underestimated.
  12. I was just about to ask about that. Given Spurs' current striking options, if Pekhart scores regularly is there a chance they might want him back when the loan ends? I'd certainly have him over that Pavlyuchenko or however you spell it.

    Davis

In the interview with him in the programme yesterday, he said that he heard there was interest in him towards the end of the transfer window but, because he wanted to stay here so badly, he turned his phone off on the last day to make sure he couldn't get any offers. He also says he loves the club and the area. All this would explain why he seems to hungry and enthusiastic. Love to hear this kind of thing.
  14. Because they underestimated us. Bit off topic, but JP said in the program that he is "sure we can be the best team in this league if we stick to our principles and believe, believe, believe".
  15. Just as I reply to you on the other thread, you post this I thought he put in a very good performance last night. Yes, one cross went straight out of play, but he is not a left footed player. His control and touch seemed a lot better, and he timed his runs very well. Play him on the right wing and he will do a very good job IMO- he was scoring for fun from that position in pre-season, and we haven't exactly got someone holding that place down for their own.
  16. Actually I thought BWP put in one of his best performances for us last night, he was far far more effective than Dyer in any case. And most professional footballers aren't being told to sprint constantly.
  17. You can't complain about the attendance and then admit you didn't go because we might not win.
  18. I doubt those two will play at all, but yes it is half the team. So we can stop all this rubbish about "team full of kids" right away - not forgetting of course, that Surman is 21 and Gillett is 23. I'm sure they don't consider themselves to be kids. I actually think Wotton is a hell of a lot better than we thought (much like Holmes) - he seemed to run the show last night.
  19. The thing is, they're told to sprint after every ball for 60 minutes and then they're exhausted.
  20. Completely wasted at LB and a liability there as well due to lack of pace.
  21. Killer, John, Perry, Davis and Wotton will all be regulars this season.
  22. He's been sh*t. He's cost us 5 goals so far this season. I don't always need someone to blame, I just like to express my opinion.
  23. Agree with Musesaint. He's been shocking when i've seen him, but I assumed i'd just missed something as he is our top scorer. But when Pekhart came on I could see that McGoldrick was just crap.
  24. For some reason I find the fact we are calling Pekhart a nipper quite ridiculous - he's a f*cking monster.
  25. I said this after the first game.
