On Sky this morning there was a discussion about debt in football and they had quite a lot to say about Portsmouth. Apparently the Skates bought all these sh*t hot players to do well and attract more fans. They would then borrow the money to build a new stadium and thereby have an increased income, allowing them to buy better players and pay off the debts. However, for one thing they have not attracted more fans. So they cannot convince anyone to lend them the money, as they will not sell out a bigger stadium. They also borrowed the money for Crouch and Defoe - and they can't afford to pay it back. It's now believed that Pompey will try to offload both in january. In short, the owners put all their faith in the fans, who have let the club down and could well destroy it. Tut tut Corpy, PES etc - I thought you were the best fans in the world?

I've got a season ticket, so it would be pointless for me not to go.

As were the other 19 outfield players on the pitch, but he has been excellent apart from that - particularly against Chelsea and Liverpool last year. He's proved his talent.

We didn't seem to play at our best, and there were still some odd decision by Poortvliet - but 3 points is 3 points, and we could be very f*cking thankful for them come the end of the season.

Pulis and Gasmi will be made welcome, but we've now got John, McGoldrick, Pekhart, and Robertson who can play striker, and as for the wide roles we have McGoldrick (according to Jan), BWP, Surman, Lallana, Pekhart, White Paterson, Thomson, James and Holmes when fit.
