Was the Isle of Dogs moved to the south coast without me noticing? Portsmouth and its fanbase is like an outpost of Millwall.
Have they all taken it as an affectation, after watching Football Factory too many times?
Who, precisely would replace AP, in League 1? Can't see anyone with much better credentials wanting to. If they are any good they'll already be in a berth in premiership or Chship.
Music has no place within 7 minutes of any playing of football. Totally wrecks any atmoshpere whatsoever and is so patronising it is beyond belief.
In the 70's the atmosphere and tension would build steadily from 20 mins before kick off, and often the best singing and banter with opposition fans would occur in the 10 mins before a kick was even taken, but that was killed off with allocated seating and everyone rushes up off the concourse with 3 mins to kick-off now.
We played pretty brilliantly all match in fact.
Why send cameras and staff to cover a whole match then show 15 bloody seconds???? Waste of my licence fee...
They certainly haven't realised we've been bought by a billionaire owner either judging by all the Admin type comments...but neither do many people outside of Southampton, every time I mention it to anyone at work they look at me as if I am mad...
Calling us tossers...what does that make them, I wonder...? Most of their fans are geriatrics in rubber ****-pants bussed in from care homes in Cromer and Dereham!
Just back - great performance, total dominance.
Puncheon was MOTM for me, looks really classy.
Norwich were atrocious, God knows how they are top of the league.
Strange feeling about this game - reckon we will win it despite the form book on paper, and kick start our push for the playoffs..
More importantly, which pre match pub are we settling on ??
Yea it completely shut them up!
Was that the best atmosphere we've ever seen at St Mary's - if not it must be in the top 3?
The noise after we equalised was incredible follwed by literally 27000 people singing "who are ya?"and "you're not singing anymore" back at the Skates.
I just don't accept or even understand that logic, they should be up for every game, developing a professsional, winning, ruthless mentality.
Dispatching minnows like Exeter should be mere practice for the bigger fish to come.
Not good enough, all things considered.
The time for feeling lucky we still exist is over and questions need to be asked when we cannot beat Exeter after such investment.
Losing leads to Milwall, Brentford and now Exeter has sunk our season in the league.
