Tbf, if Nathan Jones couldn't get the best out of him, who could π€£

I hope that Sulemana stays, he has electric pace and is direct which could be a great asset in the Championship ! Tbf, I don't know about his attitude but if Martin is a good man manager he should be able to get the best out of him... Let's see....

Will season ticket prices be released now and will you renew?

I doubt very much that Lord Duckhunter is a bus conductor π -
I hope that someone informs the Redjet as timings are already very tight ! Bet they don't, mind π !
-
My hope is that Tino stays and that Bree is back up ! He is clearly not a world beater but I get the impression that he is reliable and will benefit our championship squad !

About 30 years ago he came to watch his son in our 6-a-side competition in Wokingham. His son's side got knocked out fairly early but he stayed on to present the cup at the end, was a very unassuming guy and really helpful on the day ! RIP Trevor

Having played golf until early afternoon and now resting up, I just found out that I can watch the Saints for a fiver π Brill... considered going over and it would have cost me about Β£30 and a few hours of my valuable time so this is a result for me βοΈ Bring it on...

I tried to get a senior ticket for my mate at Β£10 but in the Kingsland Block 29 all I could get was at Β£15 + Β£1.50 (a couple of rows in front of me) ! I'm not complaining because he wanted to come anyway but advertising at a lower price than you can actually get strikes me as sharp practice !! It is also a fair criticism that I pay 25% more than him and I'm the ST holder ! Strange marketing, I really wonder if they thought this through.... -
Sorry made a mistake !!

It was a joke, hence the (π€£) !

Only occasionally visited the Molly Millar (as was!) it was well known for Friday night punch-ups by the squaddies from Aborfield and got a bit of a reputation at one time ! No idea what it is like these days ! My local was the Three Frogs but I think that has changed dramatically over the years as well !! -

I lived in Wokingham for 20 years (Rances Lane) and my boy was playing for local teams. Quite a few Saints shirts around in those days but of course the glory hunters had more ! Easy journey down to the Dell which we did for years π -

I was born in Scotland (Partick Thistle supporter) but my wife is from Southampton hence my Saints allegiance (btw, she hates football) ! I lived in Wokingham for 20 years and had ST's for me and my kids ! I lived in Belgium for another 20 years and still kept my ST's ! I have kids and grandkids in Belgium and Cape Town all of whom wear the kits and support the Saints ! You may find it weird but supporting Partick Thistle, Saints & Scotland I've never been accused of being a 'glory hunter' π ! The original post in this thread is just bizarre as folks have their own reasons for supporting a team and geography is not by any means the sole factor ! As Rod Stewart once famously said "There are two things in life you cannot change - your mother and your football team" COYS π -
He's off to Man City - gauranteed βΊοΈ

My biggest concern over his ability was his reliance on stats etc.. his laptop never left his side and if the theory said to make a sub on 60mins then that's what he did irrespective of the flow of the game ! A good technical coach, probably. A manager probably not...

He lives in Cobham, Luton is not an easy option !!

You feeling a bit crusty today ? π΅
-
Shame you feel that way but I do think there is value in character and enthusiasm ! Sadly he was one of the few last season who showed these attributes and if some of the others had a similar attitude I'm sure that we'd have done better ! As I said before, he's no world beater but he's also not useless, sadly I think that he'll be leaving anyway which will be a loss to the squad IMO π¦
-
Most contracts have a built-in relegation drop in wages (normally 50%) so unless he is the big exception I doubt he'll get anything like Fulham terms by staying here π
-
I'd keep him because of his character and enthusiasm alone ! He brings a presence and I reckon that can brush off on some of the younger players ! Sure he is unpredictable and a yellow card always waiting to happen but I'd much rather have him than moody gits like Salisu π
-
I get that he hardly played but when he did his first touch was on a par with a dumper truck π ! Having said that we are going to be in a lower league which may afford him a chance to shine but it really will be down to the manager to see if he can fit him into a regular system or perhaps even groom him as an 'impact sub' !! Personally I have my doubts but it might be worth keeping him rather than taking a whacking loss !!

It really all depends on what sort of team we are left with on Aug 4th although a Friday night away to newly promoted Sheff Wed has got defeat written all over it π΅

Skates at home is the dream draw ! Bring it on.... π
