  1. No - They normally come either the next day after ordering or the one after that - Ordered mine day they came out, so starting to feel a little uneasy
  2. http://www.101greatgoals.com/blog/southampton-boss-koeman-fraser-forster-joins-as-number-1-keeper-video/
  3. We signed Rickie Lambert for 1million .............. Surely one of the greatest signings in our history
  4. I'm not sure I have a clue as to where I think we will finish, the squad will change between now and the transfer deadline (At least I hope it will), but based on "Hope", current players and transfers targets I'm going for 12th.
  5. Its certainly a strange one - As already mentioned, even if he is surplus to requirements, stick him on a contract and then sell him - There's five million pounds of player there, every day of the week. Koeman will have watched some old games he's played in, but will of course spoken to Reed about which players he rates etc - Maybe Reed doesn't rate Cork? My only other thought is whether this could be anything to do with FFP rules or whether Cork's contract has increased through bonuses to an over inflated level.
  6. You do know this thread is about Chambers right ?
  7. What does that mean in English
  8. Hmmm not sure that is correct - I think he made his own money too
  9. Nice one mate - Congratualtions
  10. I'm not banging on about it you tool, just suggesting it might be the case. Same question to you - Do you think Shaw had one
  11. Before I respond to all you points - Let me ask you as question - Do you think Luke Shaw had a sell out clause
  12. In the Milton??? Not saying you are wrong, but that's news to me - Archers yes, but he Milton? How long ago are you talking
  13. If there was a release clause in Schneiderlins contract he would be gone - There isn't and he hasn't ..... Hope that helps. What people need to understand (And my apologies because that does sound condescending) is that the world and his wife have been watching Saints and their youth players for quite a long time. See Harrison Reed being linked to Manchester United before he played a senior game, See Arsene Wenger instructing four independent scouts to find him the best (At the time) English teenager and all four coming back with the same answer of Theo Walcott. Most if not every Club know who we have on our books and have watched them play many times. These guys know what they are looking for and know what they want and when a player ticks all the boxes they start planning. Just because we didn't all see Chambers potential from day one, doesn't mean they didn't (My son played with Danny Ings in the rep squad for - I couldn't have called him as a professional footballed in a million years) and once they do, it all starts..... forget about rules and procedures - It's all ********. So.... Chambers wouldn't have been a surprise to everybody, Just as in Luke Shaw wasn't - Luke could have walked away from a professional contract with Saints and bagged a massive signing on fee before he was 18 - He didn't and maybe as a thank you to Saints to ensure a transfer fee, but I would bare my arse on the town hall steps if he didn't include a sell out clause..... May be Chamber was the same, infact it is probable that he did. This is the new age of football, the money in the game is at an all time high, as is the premium for young English talent. These lads aren't being counselled by their parents anymore - They have professionals covering every angle.
  14. So you really think if he had discussed it Morgan first then that would have made everything alright????????????????????:lol: Whilst we don't actually know whether he did or didn't, I am happy to go along with the assumption he didn't..... Which meant he went into the meeting with Morgan saying "Saying sorry son, can't possibly sell you now..... listen to these interviews. As for thinking I know it all - I certainly don't and not close to being in the know, but your rose garden isn't looking so great, based on fact you think a quite word in morgans shell like would have prevented what is now happening. You want to lambast Ralph for something that he should be praised for.....It reminds me of the old lowe days when people got so blinded by their hatred, that they couldn't see any of the good things that he had done.- Should add through edit they might have been few and far between and he absolutely had to go, but that doesn't mean everything he did was bad. Yours is a fantasy world that doesn't exist, where chairmen tell players they are not being sold and they both skip into the sunset holding hands.
  15. Interesting - Did you see his contract
  16. You can't seriously be that naïve- Can you? Do you think that if Ralph had a quiet word with Morgan that he could have talked him out of a 30k a week pay rise, chance to join a bigger club, play European football and link up with his favourite manager? As already posted the only solution that would have prevented the current situation would be if we had sold him. On a personal level, the jury is still out on Ralph, but he has handled this situation brilliantly - It was a killer play and Morgan knew it - That's why we have had the hissy fits. For me there is no way the club can sell Morgan now - ironically they would probably want too, but the statements have been so unequivocal, with no ambiguity (Reiterated by Koeman) that if they were to do so, Ralph's position would be untenable. I also have a suspicion (Nothing factual) that the directive mighty have come from Koeman - As in if you sell anyone else I'm off. So Morgan can throw his dummy out as much as he wants, the ship has been settled and the desired effect has been achieved. Once the window is closed and he has no option he will fall back into line, ready for a January transfer. It's a real shame that it has come to this and I have no doubt that some previous gentlemen's agreements have been welched upon. But as they have both said Ralph and Koemans obligations are to the Club and the Team and nothing or nobody comes before that. I'm sure you would have been the first to moan if we had caved in and sold him. Seems to me that with some fans the club is dammed if they do and dammed if they don't. But from a negotiation perspective - It was a work of art and Morgans agent is probably still scratching his head trying to work out if there is another play- Knowing deep down there isn't.
  17. LOL - About the only thing that would

  19. LOL - Quality
  20. I'm not saying I'm right or your wrong, but if you asked me what team he would be best associated with - I'd say arsenal Not for his silky football skills obviously but Wenger starts from a premise of not conceding .....the sexy football takes place at the other end of the pitch
  21. It's ok guys, I used to work in lighting. After a few hours of use they will dim, people always used to ring up when new LED lighting was first installed anywhere. It won't always be as bright as tonight ;-)
  22. But they've already had 14 hours use .....are you still expecting them to get dimmer
  23. Whitey - I could be (very likely) being really thick here but that's over my head
  24. LMFAO..... I'm guessing that's why you USED to work in the industry. They won't dim over time.
