  1. No there are rules and laws to stop companies doing things with major assets prior to going into administration
  2. I'm not that is true and in any case the stadium is a debt not an asset

    jan p

And what did you think of pekhart
  4. Gemmel

    jan p

    That's a joke right ??????????????????
  5. Yes as a minimum, this is a season long experiment. Jan can only choose a team from what he has got and whilst i was dissapointed with him yesterday, any new manager would have the squad. There is no money to bring anybody else in and given the wages we are offering, we could only attract someone who would be another gamble. Jan is here to stay and must be given a chance
  6. I thought mills looked out of his depth. Apart from one header running backwards, i didnt see anything in the performance that you coulddnt get anywhere on a sunday mornning
  7. Completely agree with both points. Spot on.
  8. Think that's a bit harsh on Gillet, who i thought had a good game and generous to pekhart, who i thought was ****e. I agree with BWP and mcGoldrick, who were both useless and effectively had us playing with 9 men. Disappointed with Jan as he should have shuffled the pack earlier and Thompson wasn't the answer. We should be winning these games and based on the last three matches, the season is going to be a long long struggle
  9. Mark Dennis was talking about his fight with Lawrie and Wright was saying he didn't understand why the club were in such financial difficulties as it certainly wasn't down to player wages as when he was here and playing for England he was on £250 a week!!!!!!!!!! When we bought him, we took Cassells to speed up the deal as Man Utd were also chasing him, which he knew nothing about at the time. Not really surprising he left us if that's what he was on
  10. LF, i decided to stay away, not just because of lowe, but the eternal politics, awful football and players that couldn't give a ****e about the club or the fans.... I held firm for two whole matches and then caved in and went last night. It was sad to see the ground so empty, especially the family centre bit, who are our next generation of fans. I genuinely do understand why some fans have had enough and for the most part agree with some of their reasons, but whatever cost saving measures are put in place and whatever players sold, the club with the current set up and infrastructure, simply won't exist with crowds of 14,000. I dont have any answers but i don't want to be (however tiny) part of the reason we go bust even if my 25 pounds is comletely insignificant. My gut feeling is that if do go bust it will be lowe that emerges as the new owner anyway......and that just would be too much
  11. Ahh corp, thought you were avoiding this thread after you asked for a direct quote from the mail article.... and got one
  12. My first time at St Mary’s in the league this season and not sure where to start; We will get relegated if our defence doesn’t improve spectacularly in the next few weeks. The money for Davies is looking like fools gold right now. Davis is in top form Gillet is better as an attacking midfielder than a defensive one Surman will never be a left back as long as he has a hole in his arse Stern John was awful, really really really awful. Actually I’m really ****ed off with him, he would have had to try hard to be that bad. Adam Lallana, looks about as good as I have ever seen a youngster look; he has everything, spent most of the match watching him. Somebody likened him to Gerrard and that’s a pretty good assessment…. Lallana just has more skill. If we can keep him past January and get a sell on clause, when we do sell him, he can be a pot of gold. Jan’s substitutions worked, but Branfoot took over after we equalized (I was behind him (Jan) and these were his instructions) Mcgoldrick ….lose the swagger, you haven’t made it yet, you have a contract and you could be sooooooooo much better than you were tonight Stadium is lifeless ……would be soulless without the lunatic fringe in the Northam. Family enclosure empty – where are he next generation coming from. I don’t think there will be many games where we don’t concede at least two goals. I’m chuffed for the young guys getting a chance and proud of their commitment, but this is heading for disaster. We don’t have the finances to put it right and with six games gone, for me the writing is on the wall……. Will be very happy for anybody to shove this post down my throat if we climb the league .
  13. Agreed. It's Just what i saw pre - season I didn't think we would be here (Naieve maybe). A win tomorrow and we'll be ok
  14. Plymouth winning, couple of minutes left, puts us bottom Ouch
  15. Not the boss? Arcadi Gaydamak says his son, Alexandre (above), is not in charge. Hope that helps......Taken directly from the Mail Article
  16. Well if gary double says so....it's just that the Times might carry slighty more weight. This is written as a direct quote ? (Cut and pasted) Arcadi Gaydamak says his son, Alexandre (above), is not in charge. He also insists Portsmouth’s proposed new ground will be built in partnership with the Dubai royal family, who today denied they were in negotiations to buy Liverpool ....another quote??????????????? Gaydamak listed all his assets, including Portsmouth....not the newspaper then corp, gaydmark listed his assets I would reckon that even prior to this story that if pompey fans were offered a free million pound bet on who really owned portsmouth, then they would plump for gayboy senior. I think mr double, may be refferring to another article
  17. Without wishing to get into the attendance argument, they sold players as the club was losing money due to low attendances. Anyway, back to the argument in hand - If you have read the thread you will now down sasha doesn't own you - daddy does and i hope that the FA (Quite rightly) come down very hard on you. I am however fully expecting your lot to wriggle out of it, although there might be some fun to have watching it all go on
  18. Not according to Gaymark senior he doesn't
  19. Some bloke in the paralympics has just tested positive for WD40
  20. Echo says it is medial ligament damage and is out for two months

    Asturius Sports

Sorry you find Saints History, dry and boring...... very telling
  22. Lol, dont let facts get in the way of a good story eh pompey have debts (As per your annual report) and commited debts for this financial year of over £50 million. You crowds are dwindling and some of your big earners ageing past a point of no resell value. You cant fill your stadium now and the proposed ned stadium being funded by houses, when the arse has fallen out of the housing market, suggests that yet again, this will be put on the back burner. As for being happy with Sasha, i think his dad has set the record straight as to the ownership of the club.
  23. Actually they do give a hsit . pompey had to sign a declaration that the father wasnt the owner, which they did. As i said im sure you will wriggle out of it and celebrate each goal as another one of gaymarks bombs kills another family.
  24. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm Not sure you should be laughing so hard, this is pretty serious for pompey and carries som significant penalties. We all knew who owned it, pompey went out on a limb to deny it . The FA are skint .....they could do with a big fine
  25. They will wriggle out of it no doubt. The dubai Royal family link suggests they may have more money rolling in. Lets just see how bigger balls the fa have as this is a clear contridiction to their laws....after pompey were pushed on the issue
