  2. The tackle that he injured himself in..... I thought it was against aresenal and was sure he was sent off....could be wrong
  3. Timmy Flowers when he was at Saints and Gazza for spurs
  4. I heard a rumour (Don't know how accurate) that Wilde is in a bit of financial trouble
  5. I take it back .... they have found a loop hole and are appealling to the court of arbitration for sport (?????????????????)
  6. Congratulations, Any chance you could get him along to Donny on Saturday,...... Could push the average age of the team up
  7. May be their just a bit shy
  8. I think the press is an added pressure they don't need. Think of Ferguson and Gigg's Theo (for his first year and a half) and Wenger They were kept completely away from the press
  9. Administration is not the answer. We are financed diffently than other clubs, with the stadium. Do not be surprised to see rupes coming out of administration with more power and owning us lock stock and barrell
  10. Lol.... may be that's Jans football theory ......Tantric (??? spellling)
  11. scooby ??
  12. Daren, as mentioned in a PM we havent met, but hope your Mum has a blinding day and proves the lucky Saints mascot we have been missing .
  13. The fact that this is being posted during a Saints game speaks volumes more than the post itself.
  14. I feel your pain. Can't even bring myself to write how much i had to shell out last night. She is a pedigree springer ....... i could have bought two new ones with what it cost me.
  15. Don't know if we could do it financially, but Paul Jewell, has said that Savage is available to go out on loan. Dirty, nasty, horrible little ****....... Just what we could do with
  16. Both clubs signed upto no appeals. The Football Association's rule K5c states that by signing up to arbitration, "the parties shall be deemed to have waived irrevocably any right to appeal, review or any recourse to a court of law". This one could get quite interesting and i completely agree with the bit about the premier league. It was handled badly from day one.
  17. I am guessing (Thinking back to the never ending contract negociations) that a large part of his salary is based on apperances, wins, goals, assists etc. Maybe we can't afford to play him
  18. Happy to be proved wrong, but i'm 99% sure that's not the case. Same as if you go bankrupt. The sale of your house doesn't get divided amoungst your creditiors (unless there is sufficient equity to pay off the secured debt and leave some more), it goes to the person / people / company that has the debt secured against it, which in this case is Norwich Union. Unless we have other debts secured against it, which would of had to been approved by Norwich Union, then it's a mute point and why Saints in administration is very different to a lot of clubs. I know nothing about values, so as a pure guess, i would value St Mary's at 4 or 5 million. Which is obviously well short of what we owe
  19. I get all of that and completely agree with benji's assesment of transfering assets etc. This is really just semantics, wth the bottom line being if we don't pay Norwich Union, they will own the stadium - nothing that adminstration can do that would help solve that problem, coupled with fact that the debt is probably five times greater than the asset now
  20. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/hampshire/7629950.stm An iguana apparently spotted 60ft (18m) up a tree in Hampshire sparked a rescue bid by the fire service. A crew from Basingstoke arrived at Cove, near Farnborough, to save the animal on Friday afternoon. But when firefighters got about 25ft (7.5m) up on an aerial ladder they noticed the exotic animal was actually a branch of the tree. The branch bore a striking resemblance to the animal when seen from the ground, a spokesman said. "When they got nearer they could see it was just the branch dangling in the wind. "We take animal rescues seriously but in this case it was a false alarm," he added. Iguanas are part of the lizard family and are native to the Caribbean and south and central America
  21. I understand the point you are making and if that makes you techincally correct then so be it. But we don't own the Asset - Norwich union do
  22. It's not our asset benji, it is our debt with Norwich Union.
  23. Really not quite sure your getting at, as you talk about the major asset being protected.....I assume that you mean the stadium? Which is a debt and not an asset.....if we lose the debt, we lose the stadium, same as your house. We could take a few local companies for a couple of quid and maybe even the bank, but nothing that acheives anything in the long term. Add the minus points on and it spells nothing but disaster.
