I was sent this yesterday after a colleague successfully claimed their £520 and rang the tax office this afternoon and have been told I qualify and am being sent a form to complete and will recieve my £520 within 28 days Apparently only a very small % of employers applied this when calculating tax codes, as it was never advitised by the IR so the majority of PAYE employees never recieved the benefit. It is not as common for those that "Self Access", but worth a phone call. Unclaimed Children's Tax Allowance for 2002/03 The year before Tax Credits were introduced there was a different non-means tested allowance available which was never advertised by the Inland Revenue. It is called the Children's Tax Allowance for the Year 2002/03. You can still claim this tax allowance before the 31 January 2009 deadline. You need to phone HMRC on 0845 302 1437 and ask them to check whether you have already received this allowance and, if not, enquire as to what action you need to take. You are eligible to claim £520 allowance if: • You have a child born between 6 April 1986 and 5 April 2003 • The child lived with you for all or part of 2002/2003 • You worked and paid tax for all or part of 2002/2003 • You or your partner earned £6,000 plus in the 2002/2003 tax year You are eligible for the £1,040 allowance if: • If you can answer yes to the four questions above, and • One of your children was born between 6 April 2002 and 5 April 2003

Bungle, without being rude, are you special needs ? Two completely separate issues

I also believe that it was somebody actiing on or claiming to act on behalf of PA. However the club formally announced to the stock market that we were in negociations and the club were put it a bid situation. I don't know for sure, but am guessing (I'll leave it to others that know for sure to confirm) that if it was all ********, then someone has broken the law. I am assumming the buck stops with Hone. Something or somebody convinced the board PA was serious.

That might be a good place to start. We have had the 2nd biggest drop out of all leagues. Given that we are almost 30% above the average, there must be something over and above the normal trend, that is keeping people away. I'm not saying it is definately down to lowe, but to write it off as nothing, when there quite obviously IS something that is keeping more of our fans away than clubs.
-
Much as I would like us to delist, is it as simple as the board voting on it? How do the shareholders get paid off?
-
May be a DNA database might help
-
I think the difference is that rupes used club money to pay for it. Whatever your stance is on lowe, you have to question whether you think thats right or not. Personally i don't and the sneaky way in which he went about using our money to try and trick us into believing what fake fans were posting about him, speaks volumes. He was caught with his pants down and whilst it was ultimatley down to the shareholders, there were many fans on the old Saintsforver, who were sitting on the fence regarding lowe, came down against him on that single issue. So when he talks about the old reigeme ****ing away club money, the olnly thing you can do is laugh. when it comes to pssiing away money at SLH /SFC lowe wins gold medal, infact he is comparible to Steve Redgrave.

I'm in two minds over comments like these, the first being it's great to talk your players up, believe in them and let them know how highly you rate them. The second is a credibility issue, Kelvin is not international standard and as good as he has been for us this season, is still a way off (IMH) from being considered.

Lordswood you have made an arse of yourself on this thread......i think the phrase is.............stop digging
-
No mate you have made a complete arse of yourself in a game that will fill the stadium. Not only that but if you go through your posts, it is a complete contridiction to everything that you have posted , in the sense of trying to get the stay away fans to return.

He was telling people the money had arrived two weeks ago......forget him ...he is walter mitty and he wont be taking over our club
-
Your a skate fan and you've drawn Milan in Europe.....Why the fook were you watching it at the varsity and not at the match? Can't be money as if your out drinking you could afford the ticket.........Im confused. As for taking it as a compliment on how small we have become............ you might want to mention that to the fratton faithful who spent all game singing about us ( which is why i think so many of us enjoyed it) are you watching are watching are you watching Southampt................. oh fu(k.......priceless you couldnt have made it up

I think our repayments our around 1.5 to 2 mill a year. Our losses are much more than that. So no we wouldnt
-
Stanley, i am not an expert on these things and i can't be arsed to type it all out again, but from my understanding the structure of our debts i.e the stadium means administration wouldnt provide the benefits that it can for some others. The idea it will wipe off all our debts is completely wrong. Admin will hurt us enormously, if not kill us
-
Actually wouldn't it be the exact opposite and maybe the reason why their is such a delta between ours and Leeds turnover. The two close seasons would include two lots of season ticket money. im not sure how many season tickets they have, but i'm sure it would be two big chunks of cash
-
I can think of two big reasons, why you shouldn't refer to yourself as a "Nipper"
-
Stanley, i certainly wasn't advocating that we should go into administration and on the basis that the council dont have the money to buy our stadium and lease it back to us (They are super skint) then administration would not wipe out our debts. Additionally who was the chairman when they went into administration and who is their chairman now?.................be careful what you wish for.

Guess it shows what can be done http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2008/nov/27/leeds-united-profit-football-league-one 'The past is now the past' say Leeds as club announces £4.5m profit • 'We are operating without being saddled with existing debt' • Repurchase of Elland Road and training ground a priority Leeds United have announced profits of more than £4m for the 14-month period ending on June 30 this year, a period that included relegation, a spell in administration and the deduction of 25 points. The League One club have released figures that show a turnover for the period of over £23m. The club said in a statement: "The directors of Leeds United Football Club Limited are pleased to be able to confirm that the audited accounts for the 14-month period to June 30 2008 show a profit of £4,553,000. During the period the club made an operating profit before player trading of £902,000 from a turnover of £23,249,000. "On the field the club are seeking to gain promotion to the Championship at the earliest possible opportunity and to continue strengthening the club's academy. Off the field, the directors have identified that the re-purchase of both the Thorp Arch training facility and Elland Road as a priority within the next 12 months." Leeds' descent into administration after relegation to League One in 2007 was mired in controversy, with Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs initially challenging the club's company voluntary arrangement, Ken Bates gaining full control of the club and the Football League allowing them to start the 2007-08 season only if they were deducted 15 points. Leeds' challenge to the points deduction was rejected the following May. The Leeds chief executive, Shaun Murray, said today that a line should be drawn under the past. "I think the results will come as a shock to the football world at a time when many clubs are announcing record losses," he said. "The fact is that we are operating without being saddled with existing debt from the past and it shows that the club can be run effectively and profitably. "The past is now the past. It can't be pointed at for problems in the future."
