Fair play Colin and for whats its worth i completely agree. However, one thing that we are lacking is any form of recognisable supporters group, or one with significant numbers to carry any real weight. It might just be that we need one over the coming months and would urge the Saints Trust, SISA or whoever to rebrand, redefine themselves or whatever is needed to present a credible supporters group that we can all get behind.

Thanks Weston, i'm still not sure where that leaves us, but suggests there are a couple of avenues to explore, before hoisting the white flag

I dont think we will be going to in administration today, from what i can gather (And could be wrong) it is a case of we are no longer a going concern and will go in administration in the next week or so unless we can get some investment. Someone posted yesterday it would be like coventry and so far that seems about right

Many articles have been added in the night or early morning in the past

Not really, in many ways it is in keeping with the utter contempt the club have shown the fans over the last ten years. Everybody else had their stories prepared, just ready to push the button. The club don't bother, they've saved the space for getting people to the Charlton match. Well, ironically this one might sell out now, certainly if a couple of of non executives are attening, but surely even they wouldnt have the brass necks to show their faces

Did Patrick Colleter ever score
-
Games would still go ahead
-
Duncan i hope you are wrong i really do. But in the event, given the last few years can anyone think of a more apt day for Saints to go in administration. April fools day...... you couldnt make it it
-
I completely agree and infact, NickG pointed out that their source for Surman being sold, turned out to be someone that had rung the show! So i'm not not waiting with baited breath.

Can't seem to remember anything mentioned Friday, but there you go. Do i think it will happen, no probably not, but i only posted what was said, by an ex player, from a ex company of the PLC, that is still closely aligned to the club and from what he claimed was "A Massive source", on a public radio station and heard by many more fans than just me......surely that's gotta to be posting on a fans forum  So not sure if you are having a pop at me or Mark Dennis

What bits been made up?
-
Ha ha that's quality - well ive emailed them as well, so we'll see what they say. It's probably ******** and designed to get more people tuning in.
-
This is point i was trying to make with you the other day. They won't they would have to do something else with it that they think would give them a maximum return. However (And this is pure guesswork) if Mark Dennis is right (Big if), then i woudl imagine that Southampton Football club would take over the loan from SLH and everything woudl just run as normal.
-
No, technically we dont own St Marys. Aviva can decide what they want to do with it and block the administrators from selling it (Courtesy of clapham saint earlier today). We currently owe them 23 million , they are not going to walk away from that.
-
Which would be our market cap right? Currently 3 million quid, so very cheap This is starting to look quite interesting. I'm sure trousers will be on it in the morning

Ok..... Mark Dennis is saying that he has been told by a massive source (His words) That SLH is going to sell Southampton Football Club and then SLH will go into administration and that we would avoid any points penalty
-
They are talking about the plc selling the club and then putting SLH into administration. I don't know the context as to whether its a rumour or they are talking about something they know
-
Ive emailed them. Sister who isn't a football fan was listening and phoned me saying that was what they said. Happy to accept that she mis heard, (I won't mention the bit about administration)
-
I've just had a call from someone who was listening to Radio Hampshire, who reckons they've just said we are being taken over!! Anybody hear the same or did they mishear
-
There are laws to prevent that happening
-
Alpine, .....actually i can be bothered

For the last few years, i've attended a two day HR forum on the Oriana, decided not to do it this year and...... the key note speaker is one Sir Clive Woodwood. I'm a bit gutted, because you do get time to speak to them personally and would have been quite interesting.....Prime him up with a few beers and then start the questions
