  1. Insurance job
  2. I couldn't disagree more. I have had a season ticket for over 30 years (with the exception of 1 year) and although i renewed the kids, i couldn't bring myself to sign up again this season. Almost every decision was a disaster waiting to happen and ...... it did.
  3. Actually whilst i was very much against Administration, you could argue that Alpine was completely right. If as wilde is telling us that admin was inevitable then ha we done it sooner, we woudl have taken the points hit this year, have more time to have found a buyer and been more attractive without the minus 10 next season
  4. By whom
  5. He is hardly pushing the price up, by saying he doesn't expect to sell the club - that just lops another couple million off the asking price, if the buyer belives things really are that desperate
  6. He has chosen Radio Solent as his medium. They are reporting direct quotes from Fry
  7. Fry also said he doesnt expect to make a transaction - as in selling the club. It is really starting to look like this is it. Fook fook fook
  8. If this is not true, i hope he gets a good slap
  9. Agreed. If however he is still living in fantasy land and ends up hindering the process to a fatal conclusion, i hope he factored in a one way ticket to ***tsville in his calculations
  10. Im taking Fry's silence as a positive. Obviously it isn't helping us fans, but i can't help but thinking if he didn't think that at least one of the current players would or could do the deal, he would be banging his drum, trying to get any last minute bidders involved. However, some of the names involved have history and if we get to the stage where it's them or nothing and they fail to come up with the funds, were fooked. Franks cousin made a good point yesterday that when Jackson tried to takeover Bournemouth, he was announced as the preferred bidder and would have had to by that point have already gone through "Proof of Funds", yet ultimately when it came down to the crunch, the money men suddenly disappeared.
  11. Anything to do with Martin Myers and mountgrange qwerty?
  12. From a quick 10 minutes on google, it would actually fit his profile, in terms of buying and selling companies plus his work on the stadium side of things at Glouster. If the ground could be bought for 8 million (similar to Ipswich) then financially, buying just the ground looks very viable. I think from memory we pay around 1.7 million a year to Aviva. If someone bought the ground and only charged us 1 million, plus any other things they use it for conferences, concerts, world cup rugby etc, it would probably take around 5 years to see a return, which is a relatively short period of time for the potential profits over the years. Not saying i think its definatley true, but there could well be something in it.
  13. As good as rumour we've had on here. Some interesting comments from him about grounds and crowds etc. http://www.thisisgloucestershire.co.uk/news/Martin-St-Quinton-unveiled-Gloucester-Rugby-s-new-investorarticle-411125-details/article.html

I think the point he was trying to make is that payroll goes out on the 21st. I think we can safely assume we can't make payroll and therefore the 21st is ultimately D day. If a deal is not done and dusted by then, i think thats us done for. In terms of when Fry started, to the time left between now and the 21st, he's probably about right in terms of 20% left in timeframes.
  15. He's only the middle man. Pinnacle aren't the actual buyers
  16. LOL re read it ponty and then read lowes latest interviews
  17. Fergie doesn't wear a hat
  18. And for those of us that thought Poortevelt was lowes worse ever hire Hadn't heard this story before and i'm not sure why, but it made me laugh out loud. A few more stories like this and it won't be long before we stop hating him and start feeling sorry for him.....ok may be not
  19. Exactly how i feel. Is this guy really commanding the time and attention of the one person that can save us? I truly hope not.
  20. perhaps he actually go's crab ??
  21. I'm pretty sure that's about the size of it. The guy is a chancer and i'm sure that Mark Fry has the measure of him.

Weston posted yesterday that HMRC isn't an issue and he is one of the very few on here that do actually know what they are talking about, so i'm happy to believe that is the case expeacially as HMRC hasn't ever been raised as in issue in the past. Which effectively leaves Barclays who, if the stadium debt is not in the equation, would own more than 75% of the the total debt (Fag packet maths - could well be wrong) which means, if they accepted we woudl get our CVA. The stadium payment won't increase the debt, we just wouldnt be in a position to pay it, so we wouldnt be decreasing the debt. It's all about the cash available and what can be paid. Judging from all the warnings in the press and on the OS, it doesn't look like we would make it past another Pay roll, so that would appear to be the key date in which everything would have to be finalised.

If £3.8 is cash to pay the creditors and the new owners take over the Aviva loan (Stadium debt), then yep that should be enough. Once the administrator has his cut, i imagine that would be around nearly 50p in the pound for Barclays and other small creditors.
  24. Was he reading a sex manual at a funny angle
