  1. Was screaming for him to shoot
  2. I know there are a fair few posters that follow the youth teams....... did anyone see this coming? As in Sims being so close to the first team. Koeman has just said he wasn't aware of him - Which kinda makes him look more of a pr!ck in my opinion- but what has happened that made Puel throw him in? Delighted that he did and so glad young Josh grabbed it with both hands.
  3. You have a PM - Thanks
  4. So you have already admitted to having no idea about any loans that the club took out and yet you still try and make out you are right :lol:
  5. That was the first loan - We took a second
  6. Are you seriously telling me that after all the stuff you have spouted on here and how she is creaming off the profits, bulging her bank balance and fattening her smile (Disgusting comment by the way) that you haven't even bothered to look into all the information available in the public domain about our finances? Come back when you actually have the slightest clue about what you are talking about.
  7. Come on Marmite - you're posting on every other thread - But have decided not to respond to this one.... wonder why
  8. The actual net profit (Really not as simple as that based on staged payments and how deals are strictured these days) but in the spirit of what I think you are trying to get at....... Is not 110 million - It is just over 50 million. Which is still a shortfall on the money that Cortese borrowed from Vibrac. ....... All kind of strange of strange for a club who was supposed to be living within its means and the same loans that Cortese publically mocked other clubs for taking out - Assuring everybody he would never take out such a loan. Even stranger that when Cortese left Katrina restructured the loan at better terms against her personal estate. How bizarre would it be if she hadn't known about the loans and if she had why didn't she take them out against the better terms from the off???????????? Regardless - There was a 60 million pound hole (I can't remember the exact amount) For a club that public stated many times that it would need to be self sustaining. My best guess and that's all it is - Is the transfer surplus has simply gone to paying off the historic debt and really isn't lining Katrina's pocket The next set of accounts will tell us a bit more, but I would expect to see a large part if not all of that debt repaid. If that guess is correct, it has been an incredible business model that has taken a bottom of the table league one side, to the top half of the Premiership and European football, racking up 7 successive seasons with better year on year finishes and building out a squad worth over 150 million quid - whilst at the same time completely rebuilding and modernizing the infrastructure and academy of the club. All of which will ultimately have been self financed. Simply unbelievable and I would assume unrivaled. It might also make sense as to why she might now be looking to sell, if the debts to her have been settled. Katrina will have her payday - but she hasn't had it yet. That will come when she sells the club and her fathers 13 million pound investment returns her nearly 300 million. For all your squinnying about bulging bank balances - I would suggest / guess that is total ******** and that we are simply paying for all the good things we had from Cortese's reign.
  9. Nothing stopping it but would be taxable, so you would lose a third minimum before you've started.
  10. We use macquarie bank- With a charge against Katrina's personal estate.
  11. Don't take this personally - But as our historian, that is a little bit scary, that with so many great books, facts and figures at your disposal, your grasp of our financial situation is non existent.
  12. I thought he was excellent - Granted he faded and we will need to work on his fitness, but before he ran out of steam, I thought he did very well.
  13. Very lucky point - Liverpool missed three, may be four attempts that they should have scored from. We got lucky, but have probably earned that luck over the season to date. That said, some really good performances and I think Puel would have learnt a lot. A couple of posts slating Boufal :scared: - Thought he was incredible with the ball. Will have to learn which players makes which runs etc, but technically brilliant and could be a massive massive player for us. Hope we don't fall into the Tadic or Boufal trap. Decent point,, but didn't get the celebrating at the end. It was a point at home to Liverpool - Nothing more.
  14. Don't worry lads - The wall can be part fence now :) :)
  15. I think he's getting his info from the scum web mega thread (if that's still going). Or from the voices in his head....

So, there is a group going to try to buy Pompey in the next week or two. A very serious offer backed by an awful lot of money. #Pompey http://fansonline.net/portsmouth/mb/view.php?id=665976

  18. Someone worked out the no share issue.... http://fansonline.net/portsmouth/mb/view.php?id=659378 The half famous skate just came out with something interesting ..... Joemichalczuk1 Posted on 05/11/2016 00:30 PST Shares Report Message | Email Message To A Friend | Reply To Message Dr Drew is correct - as is the initial point of this thread - shares in PST are a donation - there is no legal way to get your money back if wanted. Which is interesting considering PFC Board are in the process of selling the club to a New York consortium.
  19. I can only assume that you have been out celebrating our famous victory and drunk one too many.
  20. I think you mean this one and it was against West Brom........ enjoy the clip, if you haven't seen it since, it is every bit as good as you remembered :)
  21. Life is good in Saints at the moment and we move on from players that have left..............BUT, if you think that Morgan doesn't walk .... (He would actually stroll) straight back into the starting 11 then it might be time to have those rose colored glasses cleaned.

  23. Seriously , stop talking boll@cks. Out of 92 clubs, anything untoward in Milan would have been at the absolute lower, lower, lower end. On the whole the Saints fans were an absolute credit to the club and something that we should recognize...... not discredit.

  25. Of course we aren't going to resign him, as per the vast majority of posts have acknowledged. But at 26 to suggest he would have no resale value....... Have you been smoking crack cocaine?
