Meeting Thurs 23rd with Trust, SISA, Saveoursaints, 2 MPs, LM and MC
ItchenRob replied to derry's topic in The Saints
My thoughts exactly. I would not have pledged £5k if I thought these organisations would be involved as well. SISA - 5 members. That's a 150% exagerration surely. Do Lawrie and Leon realise not realise what they are dealing with? -
Has sort of happened - last year Cardiff away tickets were free to those who had been to Wednesday and/or Preston
-
It won't help you now but for future reference* booking trains as far in advance as possible is a good idea. I have a got a return for around £40 (potentially could have got it cheaper if I had got my finger out) *looking on the bright side !
-
...... or in my case from my credit card, although slightly concerned as Sheff Wed ticket not yet made an appearance. You can de-select up to 4 games a year. I think at one point there were over 70 away s/t holders but I think there are now less than 10 !

Simple solution - become an away ST holder !

7000 Tickets left for Palace game (according to the ticket office)
ItchenRob replied to Saintmike666's topic in The Saints
Has he said elsewhere that he has not been before this season? He did not say so in his post on this thread. -
He doesn't need me to big him up but GM knew this ! I, along with many others, got carried along on the ABL argument, whch I now feel slightly embarrassed about.
-
Is this a reference to Rupert Lowe or Saints fans - or both?
-
I must be getting old as I was embarrassed by some of the Saints fands today. For example, next to me there were 3 adults and one child (about 8 yo). The child was "****" this and "Cvnt" that and the adults were doing nothing and even encouraging him. One of the adults kept shoving into me and was virtually standing in my seat at one point. I don't think he was doing it deliberately - he was just thick. I moved in the end (after vowing to myself that I would not!)
-
Up until 1938 we had blue shorts in our home kit.
-
Saints are undoubtedly sharper and more direct under Wotte. Having been manager of the Dutch U21 side and DoF (or similar) at Feyenoord he probably has a reasonable idea of how the game should be played. Marchers holding up placards saying he hasn't got a clue frankly make me cringe !

We were in a small pub about 3/4 of way from station to the ground when in walked at least 3 of the "Maze Hill" participants accompanied by several other Saints fans ! I guess they are all on the NCIS football offences register (or whatever its called). When we left the pub it was surrounded by police awiating (I assume) to accompany them to the ground. That may be one explanation for the heavy police presence.

Can we use season ticket renewals to oust Lowe?
ItchenRob replied to SaintBobby's topic in The Saints
A post dated cheque is not illegal ! It may not be accepted but no criminal offence is committed by writing one -
Poll: Will y0u attend next season if lowe and wilde are still here?
ItchenRob replied to Mr X's topic in The Saints
Agree 100%. If this question had been asked 20 years ago people would have thought you were a bit odd having this as a reason for not going. Having said that the last day that Lowe and Wilde (in particular) are involved with Saints in any shape or form will be a day for celebration. -
I would like Steve Cotterrill (sp?). Knows this league and no real failures (unlike the others on the list). I stand to be corrected though !
-
But with 40% tax relief to a higher rate taxpayer very close to money for nothing even if you only put it in a cash fund. What has this got to do with Saints I ask myself !
-
My ticket arrived today - lucky number 13 !
-
I expect thoudands of us will make the same "mistake" again. After all that's what supporting a football team is all about
-
Regarding the OS version of events I was not aware that that a football match was taking place !?
-
Are we better off than when Crouch was here?
ItchenRob replied to Channon's Sideburns's topic in The Saints
Leon Crouch was sitting about 4 rows in front of me today - and he was joining in the singing ! -
Just got back as well (I live near Gatwick). To quote the bloke next to me in the Gents aftrewards : "Very occasionally there is a game which reminds you why you keep going"!
-
Please do not post your balanced, reasonable nonsense on this forum
-
Speaking as a ST holder I would not be in the slightest bit upset if they reduced it to the approximate ST price per game (around £16) if it meant the difference between Saints making progress or not.

Subject to not being deceased or not having the money or the club not being in existence* then obviously "Yes" * or potentially certain other conditions which I cannot be bothered to list
