It is, my apologies. The bet was placed at the start of June, SkyBet. -

I put 5K on at 16/1 last August when I found out Shinawatra was the money behind Al Fahim and had bailed. I don't care if those c*nts win the FA Cup, I'm buying a (pension) flat and my nephew will have the best education I can afford. Despite what I'm watching, still smiling. -
He's all heart.

why is Ed not wearing his red tie??

Me too, I'm shouting "don't you dare f****** drop that Steph!" Felt like an age with the no. 12 ball clearly sat plum in the middle bowl. Heart-stopping.

I was born early 70's & for most of my youth and adult life they were a total irrelevance to me and, I'd suggest, saints fans in general. More recently - and particularly from the (police escorted) walk from the train station to Farton on the day we lost 4-1, the missiles (and gob - from an old fella on the balcony of his housing association hovel, "fack orff scammers") that rained down on us and their behaviour throughout & after that game, I've become convinced Gen. Wolfe had it pretty much bob on. Filthy pikey c*nts. Enjoying their pain right now and long may it continue.

70's Visiting Santa's grotto at Debenhams and recieving a replica WW2 Schmeisser submachine gun. The sign on the zebra crossing outside (towards safeways) that said 'Do not cross the road when the red man is showing', to which someone had added 'his pr*ck'. Watching James the chimpanzee smoke the endless fags thrown to him at the zoo. Being fitted for the least fasionable school shoes imagineable at French's. Lift attendants in Tyrell & Green's. "Going up?" Back to the car and a plesteds pie in Arundel Towers for lunch. Two blokes fighting outside the Spa Tavern opposite. My grandad buying pipe baccy from Whites in London road. A burger and 'french fries' in Huckleberry's. A 'Totem Pole' burger in Goodies. Much later - Goblets, on to Aggie Grey's, then The Frog & Frigate. Maybe The West Indian Club for cigars (I don't know why) and cans of Red Stripe. A dodgy shebeen in derby road. Indie night at the Labour club on a friday. The Escape Club. Larbis/Zorbas after. The last 47 home.

I should imagine, given his welcome, the general atmosphere, crowd and the far from disastrous first half showing, his half-time pie & a pint went down extremely well indeed. On his feet when we scored and I'm pretty sure the £12.5M investment seems very worthwhile this evening. Thought the Dutch fans were great today by the way. Spoke to a couple of guys afterwards who found it incomprehensible that we are a third tier club with a ground and support like that. Their rendition of 'always look on the bright side of life' when that fella was being chucked out the Northam wash pure classhh.

Indeed. A fact, as stated by "Markus" (cringe) himself in the interview posted earlier on another thread. A fact which completely negates the point you seem desperate to make about the stayaways - and equally your unswerving 'loyalty' during a period that brought SFC to the brink of extinction. Too much to hope that you saddle up that high horse of yours you seem to enjoy so much time sat astride - and ride off into the sunset? No. Threads to start, attention to be sought. Pious ***t.

Michael Jackson RIP .... puts
CFSt.Matt replied to Sold To The Man @ The Bar's topic in The Muppet Show
OK. Just how long will this be considered "BREAKING NEWS" by the BBC's rolling news service? 13 hours plus - and counting. Fookin hope nothing important happens to interupt their Jacko w@nkfest. Good news for the Jackson estate tho - Thriller had shifted 51M copies when i went to bed last night according to the beeb, this morning it's up to 65M. Result. -
I think they might actually. Rinsing cash out of a mug like you, for something you've already paid for, is exactly the sort that gets Sugar off.

We offered £2M for Beasley. PSV offered £2M. And Champions League football. He chose them! Believe that!?
