for 1,400 Euro, should've added that!

My ex-colleague said you'd be lucky to get something for 1300 EURO in Geneva, not sure of the exchange rate now, guess that's somewhere close to 1500 CHF? He said to have a look on glocals.com or you could also try WRG FM classified. WRG is a local English language radio station. If you're not that bothered about living in Geneva, France is far cheaper. It was 5 years ago but I had a 4 bed house in Cessy. Ferney Voltaire is on the border and has lots of flats, not as nice as Thoiry, Cessy etc but cheaper and close, has good bus links to Geneva and has Paddys Irish bar :-)

My kids are going to start rowing, went down to BTC near St Marys on the weekend for a taster session. Very welcoming and they enjoyed it.

Biggest problem I used to have was being away from UK in hotels it's very easy to eat unhealthy food, drink too much beer, do little exercise and become a fat bastard.

The media frenzy is continuing, he's just made an appearance on radio 4 on the sports slot. Birch was playing the we're all in this together line, the players aren't at fault etc etc. Then presenter spins the line about players getting nothing if the club is liquidated rather than something with a compromise. The bottom line was poor old Pompey, a great institution going to the wall. ffs. ******.

Incorrect, they put Barclays on negative watch. And we're going to get a bunch of MPs (cross party) to investigate mal-practice? They're hardly the whitest of white in meeting policies now are they, bunsh of ****esters.

Not literally!

I'd have preferred to have seen Billy Bragg up against Mensch.

General Hospital Childrens Heart Unit survives

A great result, the staff are wonderful and it's a just result as SGH is one of the best units. Happy that my little girl will be going local rather than London or Birmingham -
http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/highschool-prep-rally/west-bromwich-albion-barclay-premier-league-club-facing-180127715.html We'd best vilify west brom as well. I just get the feeling some of the comments are on sectarian lines rather than the abuse one.

I despair of people like you. There's nothing wrong with the club, it's a minority of fans.

trousers, having now read the guardian article. Which idiot thought it would be a good idea to update their batch scheduling software mid week!

They'll never pay proper attention to these implementations until something goes wrong, then the seniors involved. As with every institution...cost reduction, cost reduction, issue, spend some more. I must admit this does frustrate me though,a chap from Comp Weekly on radio this morning bemoaning the legacy systems, no mate it's poor change management and testing that's driven this issue. The same can be said of many organisations when it comes to data security, privacy and outsourced services such as payroll. No one is willing to spend the cash until there's a breach or a resiliency issue. Until then they pay lip service.

Yes deffo a saints flag in the corner at ground level in the second half. Near the corner flag.

In the hope to try and keep WadeGarrett happy I'll start a more manly thread.. Chaps, realise I've fecked it on moving my pensions investments out of equity and into bonds given the market. What's everyone else done with their pension investments? Left them in equities to ride the storm or moved them to cash, bonds etc? And yes, I know there are financial advisors to go to but wanted a consensus of opinion on what the more savvy people on here have done.

Yes indeed wade, not my fault I've still got hair wade. Every time I see you you've got more face to wash.
-
Looking to get my hair re-styled while I still have the chance. Does anyone have suggestions for good hair salons / barbers for blokes? Money isn't an issue, just want a good cut. I've seen Browns in Hedge End and Equinox in Oxford street, any other options or opinions on these or other places?

You'd be better off a with a short walk to the obelisk

Plans for Waterside/St. Mary's Area Announced
GenevaSaint replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Why oh why have you started another thread. This document is already on the stadium expansion thread! It's on there as its relevant to that not in general. -
Please see above link ;-) All aspirational goals highlighted in the new city plan. Problem is the St Marys/riverside piece of work is 20 years off from what I read.

http://www.southampton.gov.uk/Images/CCMP%20public%20consultation%20version_tcm46-314213.pdf Itchen riverside redevelopment- P134 Very very long way off and quite aspirational.

http://www.defra.gov.uk/statistics/environment/inland-water/iwfg13-leakage/ So yes still alot of wastage but there have been improvements but they've now stagnated.
-
Over the last two years we've had a deficit of 19 inches of rain, so technically a drought unlike 76 for example. April gave us 2 inches above average rainfall so were still short by quite some margin dune. Bexy, I don't buy the underinvestment, the leakage figures are lower now than forma long time although still unacceptable. We run out of water as we're wasteful end of. The uk is semi arid.

fourth official did get the major one correct though, Saints to be promoted :-) Made that call before the season started I believe.
