Come on Duncan do share, you'll only get shot by the pro NC brigade surely, or would it be the informant? I'll go for the autocratic Mr Cortese somehow got involved and the builders either left by choice or were pushed out of the door. Christ on a bike when will this rumour mill and not so subtle innuendo finish? For all of the people that don't like change, read "who moved my cheese".
-
I concur that upsetting the press is not a clever move, but does it really stop us from being successful in our goal of promotion this season? I think not. Just out of interest then Dune, whom would you have in to advise Cortese? The old board did such an amazing job of running the company did they not?

Going, bought tickets 4-5 months ago now. Cannot wait. Went 2 years ago and was a great day even though Hampshire weren't in the finals day.

If I were you Mero, it'd probably be "woooo hoooooo".

Mack Rill, let's not forget that Chanrai will still want his money out of pompey! I seriously expect to see the CVA agreement broken before everyone gets their 20p in the £. Mark my words.

HMRC can appeal again, thought I saw that would be tomorrow. Little point though I would guess.
-
Dissapointed is an understatement. Don't think HMRC did that good a job. It's going to be a long season for them and I don't think they've reached rock bottom yet.
-
FFS, it's taken that long my 4pm meeting has now started.
-
They're either supremely confident or couldn't give a fck. That said, does it add any value being there? Does send the right message to the blue few though.

Google danroan and the twitter feed comes up with live refresh

the portsmouth news website has slowed right down. It that pompey fans or saints looking for the result :-)

http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/newshome/Yob39s-Facebook-boasts-after-he.6449570.jp But it's ok, nothing to do with football so he gets a nine month sentence suspended for two years and ordered to do 100 hours community service.

BBC are reporting that Jack Wilshere, Micah Richards, Lee Cattermole, Adam Johnson and Theo Walcott have been omitted for the U21 squad for the friendly against Uzbekistan at Bristol City on Tuesday. Sounds like they'll be getting a call up to the full squad. Hopefully getting a good part of the game...

Cheers guys, was thinking Android now sold on it. Andy, the rant was deciphered without issue.

I'll be listening to talksport or R5Live on DAB, working from home today!
-
Just remember chaps, stiff upper lip, lets not feed the troll if Corp re-appears between 3 and 4 pm!

Will today spell the end of the epic 'Pompey takeover saga' thread?

Man that upgrade to the software is so ****. Please tell me it was the upgraded software that allows this :-) -
I thought Webber was out injured. I like the invisible man in each of the subs positions ;-)

I'm expecting the judge to rule in favour of the cheating bastards. Was dissapointed on what has been reported from us, the skates and the media about the job the HMRC QC did. That said, did smile at the skates will get liquidated as there is no other buyer comment, boo hoo, the judge is there to judge the case not to take into account emotions. Even if they do "win" though, I believe they're financially fooked. AA has delivered on CVAs that have failed before, we could see them back in court pretty quickly :-) I'm sure the revenue will be paying special attention from now on.

Hi Guys, Looking at getting a new phone, seen a few smartphones. Anyone have any feeback about android phones? Seen a few of the apps, is everything on iphone available on android? Guessing android might have more availability of apps due to the more open nature. Any thoughts on new handsets coming out? Cheers, Mike.

Here's the section I think they're talking about tony..... "The value of the claim regarding image rights. HMRC obviously claim that there has been, to use Lampitt’s phrase, ‘value management’ in the amount of debt which we have as a club but, in turn, it has to be recognised that HMRC have also been guilty of this with their raised claims. To get their claim up to the 25% required to successfully appeal, they have to prove 95% of their new claim (basically £12m of their additional £13m)."

I'm with you Warsash, the latest ****** from Scudamore just enforces the opinion for me. We were misled my arse, you bent over backwards for Pompey and now you're trying to protect the "brand". Wayne Kerr.

[Comment From Beaver Beaver : ] worst case scenario we go bust, take a 17 point drop and spend the £30 million CVA funds on new players then?
-
This. Which, TBF is a fair result. More interesting would be what do the FL do about the embargo. Pompey would need to prove they're a viable concern with no money issues. Chainrai to underwrite x million?

It's a reasonable sample size, given they forecast elections on the opinions of around 1,200 people in polls. The difference being though I'm pretty sure our demographics are skewed. 90% Male for a start.
